Why is religion such a hot button topic? Why is one's belief in God considered personal to some but not to others? Is it a personal and private matter to any of you? Is it something that goes against God's Word as far as sharing our faith publicly or no? Should expressing our religion be just a private thing between the believer and the Lord in your humble opinion or not?

I believe it's a hot topic because all of mankind is made in the image of God and because man has a mind, body, and soul is uncontrollably religious in nature. Nothing seems to stir up emotions more than religion. Nothing seems to motivate more than devotion to religion. It is in the heart of man at the core. It is both personal and public. We as Christians, are instructed, indeed commanded to do both. In public is where we have the greatest struggle, for any number of reasons. In public is an area where I consistently fail to speak up.
