Why is God so good to me and blessing me when I do not deserve it!

Can someone please help me to understand why God would love
someone like me and bring me into a loving relationship with Him
and bring me through every difficulty and promises me eternal life?

God is so high above me, how can He love me?

Please, I am desperate to know why God is so good, loving and kind,
to me when I know I am flawed and do not live a perfect life.

I need some answers....

Thanks

Why do so many say and agree that we're wretched hideous things that don't deserve to be loved. I so disagree. Our sinfulness is all those things but we're made in God's image. Right? or am I missing something.

He just loves you because you exist. His word says he loves you so therefore He is only doing what he said he would do; love you. You DO deserve God's love. Plus, you're an OK guy.

So kind...
God bless you for your kind words.
I see your point that God loves us because He chooses to do so even
though we don't understand His motive completely but perhaps your analogy
of being made in His image in that God procreated us as His children,
is the simplest and yet most profound reason that God loves us...

Thanks...

ps....no one deserves to be loved....no one can make anyone love them.
No one can force love but love is a choice not made on merit but is
a commitment...
Love is a choice and commitment that God has made toward us...

Could I say that I deserve to be loved by you when you have no intention
of making that commitment toward me...even though I am and OK guy....:)

[bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse] YOU EDITED. NO, YOU HAD IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME. EOS.

Psalm 139:14
King James Version (KJV)

14I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.

God would be contradicting Himself if he thought we did not deserve to be loved. It's SIN that is unworthy, NOT his creation.

God would be contradicting Himself if he thought we did not deserve to be loved. It's SIN that is unworthy, NOT his creation.
But His created children are disobediant.
What parent believes their child DESERVE their love when they
disobey and try to hurt themselves and others.

Real love is a commitment, not a right that can be deserved or earned.

Does a murder deserve to be loved?
Does a rapist deserve to be loved?
Does and child abuser deserve to be loved?

If any of those above had commited those crimes against you would
you be compelled to love them based on their merit?
Could any of them say they deserve your love?

But if any of those above were your son or daughter, you would love
them no matter what they did even though you would hate their
evil deeds and the harm they caused to others....and they would have to
face the music and pay for their sins....unless they are pardoned.

God is the Father and even though we don't deserve His love
because of all of our sins against each other, God chooses
to love us inspite of our unworthiness.

That kind of love breaks my heart.
I don't deserve it.
It make me want to try to love like He loves.
I do not know how to but I still ask Him for it.....
Isn't it that undeserving love that draws us to Him! I have tears in my eyes just thinking of the mess I was when He came to me, and said I can help you, I still love you......If God could say that to the man I once was, Its that kind of love that brings a man to his knee's bawling like a little kid. Oh what a great thing repentance is!.....Love came first, repentance was the only answer, forgivness and salvation is the reward

For me it is like that scene in the passion of Christ when the
religious leaders have brought the woman caught in the very act
of adultery and they demand that she be stoned to death
to satisfy the requirement of the law as they challenge Christ to
satisfy and approve their decision as the religious leaders of Israel.

The scene then cuts to a camera angle from ground level as suddenly
all the stones drop to the ground and the accusers walk away one by one
and then a trembling hand comes into the frame, inching forward toward
Jesus, reaching, crawling closer until she reaches Christ and takes
hold of His feet and then in that moment of utter brokeness and
wretched sinfulness Jesus reaches down with His hand outstretched
and lifts her up toward Himself....

I am that sinner.
I identify with her in that I deserved death and Jesus reached down and
rescued me and in that moment I knew that my heart forever belongs to Him,
because he has broken my heart with His love that I never deserved.
