Why in conflict between atheist and theist the people punish the theist only?

If an atheist calls any theist "poe", then people rush to ban the theist. Why?

Revelation 13:7 It was given power to wage war against God's holy people and to conquer them. And it was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation.

So, the Pope loves atheists, and even says pleasing words for them, but nevertheless, they do no accept the kindness:

Why Pope has proven the kindness, why the compassion and loyalty to atheists? Because in the above video the Pope simply says like: “is believed, that the more faith means more good deeds, but the example of faithless atheists proves the quite opposite, namely that atheists are much more moral, than majority of Christians.” It is not his problem, that the atheists see that in twisted light.
