"Just last weekend, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia met in a historic first, suggesting the Saudis might join the growing club.

The triumph of peace over hatred reflects that the four Muslim countries fear Iran and regard Israel as an ally. Kerry said such deals were not possible without Palestinian approval. He was clearly wrong, so why would Biden jeopardize progress by again embracing Iran and its malignant regime?" https://nypost.com/2020/11/24/joe-biden-is-reviving-all-of-his-past-failures-goodwin/

Because Iran is a sovereign power that's been backed into a corner by harsh, unnecessary sanctions and Palestine is effectively an open air prison. Saudi Arabia is one of the most oppressive regimes on the planet, and those Saudis you are so keen to be friends with flew planes into buildings in your country.

But yeah, let's be al scaredy of the Iranians, the people whose elections you overthrew to install a puppet government and then got all huffy because they overthrew him.

Oh goodie, Israel are making friends with the worlds primary source and propagator of Wahhabism, the guys who have killed over 100,000 people in an illegal war and the guys who murdered an dismembered a reporter in a foreign country.

Yay, go team!

so why would Biden jeopardize progress by again embracing Iran and its malignant regime?
It would be another triumph of peace over hatred.

And let’s not forget that SA are very much the baddies and last time I looked cozying up with the baddies not not a good thing.

"Iran remains "the world’s worst state sponsor of terrorism," funding international terrorist groups and engaging in "its own terrorist plotting" around the globe, particularly in Europe, a new report by the U.S. State Department says.

The Country Reports on Terrorism 2018, released on November 1, says Iran has spent nearly $1 billion dollars annually to "support terrorist groups that serve as its proxies and expand its malign influence across the globe." Oh well if America says it, it must be true. It's not like they overthrew the elections in Iran and installed a puppet government, and are still carrying a decades long grudge that they lost that fight as well. So yes Clint, you buddy up to the country that flew planes into buildings and the Pentagon. Just completely forget about 9/11.

How easily people can remember the 1953 coup but at the same time they forget The United Kingdom had a pretty big part in it.

Wait. The opinion of others in the world is important again? What happened to "America first"?

Yeah, bummer that trump has alienated so many of our REAL friends.

It will be nice to actually have some countries around the world again who actually SUPPORT what the United States tries to do dimplomatically.

Are you saying Palestinians are no longer marginalized due to this peace treaty?

We'd all love to hear how Iran, the leading terrorist state in the whole world, equates to Peace.

Freeing up 150 billion dollars so that her nuclear weapons development can go forward surely doesn't seem to equate to "peace."

Tell you the truth, I really don’t care about the situation in other countries and parts of the world right now. We should work on getting our own country back in order before we go worrying about other places.

Are you saying Palestinians are no longer marginalized due to this peace treaty?

I suspect these agreements between Israel and various Sunni states are more of a ratification by the Sunni states of Israel's annexation of West Bank lands. (That an the formalizing of an alliance to challenge Iran.)

I believe we can walk and chew gum at the same time. Recovering from the current health related crisis will take some diplomacy as well. There are also a whole lot of things that need to be righted in our foreign relations, not to mention the climate crisis.

I strongly agree that Iran is a sponsor of terrorism, and that we should resist their efforts.

That being said, there is ZERO question who has been the "world's worst state sponsor of terrorism", and that isn't Iran.

It the country that

paid for 911; that sponsors schools for terrorism throughout the world; that has sponsored many, many terrorist strikes throughout the world.

It is the country that has been destroying its neighbor Yemen.
===========
The worst state sponsor of terrorism is clearly Saudi Arabia.
