http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Recapitulation_theoryHaeckel produced several embryo drawings that often overemphasized similarities between embryos of related species. The misinformation was propagated through many biology textbooks, and popular knowledge, even today. Modern biology rejects the literal and universal form of Haeckel's theory.
I tend to agree.Science has nothing to do with Creation.
Steps of the Scientific Method
You mean "should be"?
Nothing generated = nothing that should, would, or could be left behind.
(C'mon "scientists", get with the program here.)
So, there's obviously something left behind: What was created. So, I ask again: How do we know what evidence would be left behind from creating something out of nothing? You keep saying this but how do you know there is no evidence for creating something out of nothing?
Let's play more word games! How about this one:
Christianity is based on an unobserved god and is being passed off as a legitimate religion.
Now you pretend that you agree with that statement, and there are no negative implications.
I never thought about thatCreationism is based on proof that Adam and Eve had no belly buttons.
Or, maybe that was just a joke my dad told once.
Christians during the time of Isaac Newton might only have been Christians because they knew better than to say they were not Christians (like most of the politicians in the US today) because they were surrounded by superstitious people who knew no better, why do you think Darwin delayed the publishing of his book? because he knew it would upset people and in particular his wife.
America today is in the same position Darwin and Newton were in 150 years ago but thankfully as they did in the UK things are changing in the US for the better, superstitions and myths are being left behind.
Do you for one minute think that Newtons Christianity had anything to do with his science? had he let it we all know that it would have held him back not helped him.
I tend to agree.
Btw, how many Christian scientists are there in the world?

Creationism is based on children's stories people have carried with them into adulthood, either that or as adults they would prefer to remain as children, or they enjoyed being children so much they don't want to grow up, or their education has been so lacking they are unable to grow up, or they are so confused they find it easier to go with the flow and not think about it, ignorance certainly seems to be the hallmark of creationism.
I never thought about that

Did Adam and Eve have a belly button?

Did Adam and Eve have Belly Buttons???? hmmm ever wonder
The proof is in the signsBecause of the word "Proof" that makes it a good joke.

But not the ones named Steve.
always made people think... hahaha
Here's what I think...
If God DOES have belly button, maybe Adam & Eve have too...
They are created in the image & likeness of God right?
(oh dont crucify me...)
Honestly, maybe they do not have one... you'll only get that if you come from your mother's womb... haix... another question to ask God...
I'd better write them down for me to to forget
There is plenty of evidence. My point was that if you are waiting for evolution to be overturned, you will be waiting a very long time. The fact is that I don't care what you believe.
I'm just telling you what I don't believe.
The turtle thing is just one more thing I don't believe without proof.
Anyone can claim "It's turtles all the way down". Until it's proven, let me be.
Anyone can claim the species originated by natural slelection. Don't think I'm ignorant because I'm waiting for proof.
Then learn more about it. I suggest you start here: Understanding Evolution This is a very good website, which I recommend.Believe what you want. I don't care. I won't mock you, and I expect that you won't mock me. You say "a little knowledge is a dangerous thing". But I'm expected to believe a theory based on very little knowledge. No thanks, don't hold your breath.
It was your first response, and it made no sense. Please don't tell me my thinking is muddled, friend.Obviously not! Since that was not my only response.
Are you really sure that you are a scientist? Your thinking seems to be a little muddled.
I'm saying Christians should not be disqualified from science just because they are Christians. I am reacting against the boast "Leave the science to us".
Do you think for one minute that Newton's Theory is invalid just because he was a Christian?
But not the ones named Steve.
