Why should Canada? There's still lots of income inequality and poverty alone; and ironically Canada being slightly more liberal,then the States perhaps feel more incline to spend. that money States side.
Despite this though, Canada does spend a hefty sum, or at least Canadians themselves do, on foreign interests inside the country.
