Evolution and Christianity are not mutually exclusive concepts. Evolution is not atheism.

I want to see something that brings us from a single cell organism to what we are today.
That's not the topic of the thread. There are other threads that discuss a wide variety of evidences though.

You talk about us getting bigger and our skin color being darker, that is not evolution, it is adaptation, evolution is:

A change in the genetic composition of a population during successive generations, as a result of natural selection acting on the genetic variation among individuals, and resulting in the development of new species.
In other words, adaptation is evolution. You are just playing semantical games to deny it.

Tell me, when has one species developed into another species?
Hasn't this already been gone over with you previously? In any case, there are threads on that topic here already such as:

"macro"evolution as you call it has been observed. There is an extensive archive in the talk origins archive allthough if you want I could invest some more time in it.

Do you have links to any studies where bonobo-human, chimp-human, or gorilla-human breeding experiments have been performed, successful or otherwise? I've never seen one.

But let's say there is a barrier. You still haven't given the cause/nature of the barrier.

tach, point taken on the legitimacy. i doubt that it would be possible to create a successful ape human offspring. mainly because all other examples of cross species breeding has resulted in sterile offspring.

That's not true. Female mules have carried foals to term. The offspring of lion-tiger crossings have been fertile. The plant kingdom holds many more examples than you want me to list.

I don't mean to insult but do you need to be spoon fed? Ever heard of Google? Try it sometime. There are many lists of speciation on the web. It would save you typing a meaningless post.
You're awfully rude. You also look very familiar to me.

You do know what the definition of 'species' is normally taken to be, amongst sexually reproductive organisms, don't you? :D

ive never seen one either borg, i think that this indicates that there is a barrier between the species.
No, it indicates that there are ethical considerations associated with this kind of research. If it has been conducted, it is unlikely that the results would be publicized. Even as a curious, godless, stem-cell-research-lovin' atheist, I kinda hope this research has not been performed.

2 points:

1. the mule offspring has supposedly been going on since the mule and it seems like the chances arent getting any better, just freak occurences perhaps.

2. all male ligers are sterile according to that site. please correct me if i am missing something

The decreasing frequency of fertile hybrid offspring would be support for speciation, since horse and donkey genetic similarity has been decreasing since their initial split from a common ancestor. At some point, mules will no longer be possible, fertile or not.

But that isn't the case with the females. Are you going to tell me that there is a male and female 'sub-kind' for each 'kind'?

well the fact that males are sterile while females are fertile proves that the liger cannot become a dominant species, just a freak occurance species.
Believe me, I've read the whole thread. But I'm still a little vague about what position you are defending. Remember that evolution involves populations, not individuals.

Speciation isn't caused by hybridization. Populations of organisms accumulate genetic changes over time. If one part of a population becomes isolated from another, the separate genetic changes accumulated by the now separate populations over time will, given sufficient time and isolation, lead to two species.

im not defending any position. i like to debate/challenge for fun, but i am open to theistic evolution and young earth creation. the only views you will see me really defend around here are theological. truth of the gospels, truth of god, etc..

That's cool. We like evidence here (as if you hadn't noticed, ha ha). I like the fact that you seem to be honest in asking questions.
