You cannot conjure up faith. It is something God gives when the motive is love.

Faith is a fruit of the Spirit, not a work of the flesh. The Holy Spirit is love, and real faith works by love.

Is anything that comes apart from faith defined as sin also called as greed?

Is coercing the followers to give money by teaching, "God blesses you if you give seed money" rather than teach "God has already blessed you because Jesus gave Himself to die for you", called as greed and sin?
