Nazis are Nazis. Just because David Duke couches his ideas in different terminology doesn't mean a thing. A foundational belief of Nazism is that there is a superior race. Duke and Hitler share the same root ideology:
I’ll go out on a limb here and confess to reading David Duke’s website from time to time. The reason why is because he does a good job keeping tabs on Zionism, which is a terrible ideology that is characterized by Jewish ethno-nationalism and Israeli aggression. For people who care about human rights, it’s always good to stay informed on what the Israeli terrorist state is doing. In fact, they are beyond being an Apartheid state, and they’re responsible for ethnically cleansing the Palestinians from their homes.
If you actually heard what Duke says instead of believing what the media tells you about him, he has always condemned the idea of racial superiority and has done so in many interviews. As far race goes, all he seems to want is for whites to live among themselves. You could say he supports the concept of “separate but equal." And as someone who has friends from many ethnic groups and lives in one of the most diverse cities in the US, I certainly disagree with him on that idea. But he still has the right to voice his opinion, and it by no means makes him some sort of Klansman.
Speaking of the KKK, are you aware of the fact that Duke has distanced himself from that organization? In the CNN interview I’m posting below, Duke begins his interview by saying that it was a long time ago in his life, and since that time he accomplished a lot of things like being elected to the House of Representatives, earned a doctorate in history, and wrote many books.
Also, are you aware that Robert Byrd, a representative from West Virginia and a Democrat, was also once a Klansman? Like Duke, he distanced himself from that terrible organization and repented. But liberals like you give Byrd a pass because he isn’t a Republican or conservative.
Apparently, you have bought the media’s fake news narrative about David Duke hook, line, and sinker. And by the way, I know how you’re going to respond to me. You’re going to write back and call me a racist, Nazi, or some other epithet because I debunked your false criticisms of Duke. Just because I agree with Duke’s views on Zionism doesn’t mean I support his any of his racialist ideas.
