That does snot answer my question. Where are the passages where he appears to be saying that. I've read "On the Origin" and I don't find anything like that. Also, he presents very solid evidence in "On the origin." IN addition, Darwin has a colleague, AR Wallace, to back him up. Wallace actually came up with the notion of survival of the fittest. Wallace lived for year sin jungles, carefully observing nature, gathering up zillions of specimens. Actually, he discovered 5000 new species. The natural theology of the day said that a species cannot change. However, Wallace came up with all sorts of insect specimens that showed a species can undergo change. He also noted that there is no hard-and-fast dividing line between where one species ends and another begins. Makes sense. We are 95 percent ape. Wallace wrote all kinds of books. I am sure you can find an online course that will show you some to the specimens he examined.
Science does not support theory,, that is why it is called theory.. science supports only fact....If science is truly your domain, Shadowprophet, then why do you have trouble with evolution? Evolution is probably the best-supported theory in modern science. That's why science holds with it. Also, there are plenty of examples of transitional fossils.

Science, Shadowprophet, does accept evolution as fact. Also, you have yet to answer my question about Darwin. How many children he had is totally irrelevant to the issues at hand. Are you aware that he was about to become an ordained minister before he left on the Beagle? Now, see, something like that is relevant to teh discussion.
It's not "proof", it's "evidence". It is possible, however unlikely, that next time you add heat to water it will freeze. That's how the whole "just a theory" thing works. Yes, evolution is "just a theory", the same way "adding heat to water boils it" is "just a theory".
Down syndrome isn't a new species because people with Down Syndrome can interbreed with people without down syndrome. What??!
No matter, others can go to the link you provided to see the weak "evidence" presented for speciation.
By the way, you didn't respond to my comment as to why Down's Syndrome is not considered a new species when it would meet the criteria for a plant or other animal to be declared a new species? Scientists playing word games to salvage a viewpoint.... sad.
Hey, don't take my word for it. Feel free to read it in any book on the scientific method.Ooookaayyyy....
So you reject gravity, but believe in "down"?Newton couldn't even complete his book. All those pages and nothing proven.
If gravity were real butterflies would not be able to take flight.
After all, the argument made is that the larger mass of the Earth pulls the moon into orbit by the force of gravity. If gravity is so powerful to pull the moon toward the Earth, then this overwhelming mass is powerful enough to hold a few ounce butterfly to the Earth.
It's preposterous to think that oceans can be held to a ball (have you tried that one), but butterflies can't be held to the Earth by this "gravity".
Denser objects fall downward. It's a universal principal. God created the laws.
No they weren't which is why GOD left a RECORD of HIS actions and preserved it for 1,000's of years so those like you would know the truth. You see it always comes back to do YOU believe God through HIS record. We both know the answer to that question is "NO".Yes, BornAgain, but nobody was around to directly observe God crating in six days, either. That, too, is a matter of speculation.
No, scientists do, and not all of them do.Science, Shadowprophet, does accept evolution as fact.
All the competent ones in the relevant fields do.No, scientists do, and not all of them do.
Because there's no evidence to support kinds changing into other kinds. If science is truly your domain, Shadowprophet, then why do you have trouble with evolution?
No,not at all. It is the most popular scientific attempt to explain the origin of species.Evolution is probably the best-supported theory in modern science.
It's not me that's casting doubt on your character because you're doing a fine job of that all by yourself. I didn't say God "evolved" us from dirt God said HE created us from the dirt and your religion of "evolution" has no relation to God or his word but is in fact a doctrine of devils. I'm not here to cast doubt on God's word however that can't be said about you a carnal theologian. As far as your contemporary christian movement goes it's doing far more damage to God's word and Christianity than any atheist could hope for.BornAgain, God didn't evolve us from dirt but from common ancestor common to both apes and humans. Also, you should be more careful about casting aspersion onto the character of fellow Christian's here. I am a theologian and my thinking goes right along with a major movement in contemporary Christian thought.
Yes there is, people screwing their eyes shut just s tight as they can and pretending it doesn't exist notwithstandingBecause there's no evidence to support kinds changing into other kinds.
Because it's the best supported by evidence. No,not at all. It is the most popular scientific attempt to explain the origin of species.
