CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I have pretty much the same picture in my Human Evolution book that I used at university when Mike Morwood ( now deceased) and Peter Brown (the guys who found and studied Homo Floriensis) were my lecturers yet you are the only person who says there are actual links between each genus. Oh and your picture hasn't got Ardepithicus so its a little outdated. Maybe it would be good if you studied up on the subject and got up to date with it.

That would be true if it weren't for telescopes,, optical, gamma,radio,, There would be warning time for some folks,, however, I doubt such an emergency warning would have time to reach the masses in eight minuets, So yeah,, mostly you are correct.
If the sun were to super nova,, I don't think I would panic the people. It may be wrong of me, But, Why panic the people in the last eight minuets of their lives..
Just remember, so much of the earth will be destroyed by fire.. many people believe this to be nuclear war,, it could very well be the sun... who knows.. solar flairs are pretty powerful... even mild ones put nuclear reactions to complete shame,, if a powerful enough solar flair hit the earth,, that could easily destroy much of the earth..

you are taking a mountain and calling it a mole hill.. what you are labeling as Evolution is the changes that occur to an organism with environmental change.. if a group of people split off from one another, one moves north and the other moves south.. give them thousands of years of eating differently working differently, living differently,, they will be different.. If I set and eat hot pockets until I get really really fat,, did I evolve into that obese form??

Evolution does not equal creation. Creation is from nothing, evolution is from one thing to another.

Most people will disagree,, And I don't say this often,, but,, By textbook definition.. yes, God is extraterrestrial..
People want to think of tin foil hats and ufos when people say alien.. however. By definition of the word. that is what he is.. He is still our creator, And our father, But, To deny what the true definition of extraterrestrial is.. would be in error..

Couldn't there be a feminine dimension to God, Johnny? I mean, you are turning God into the stereotype- of the tough male warrior, cold, unemotional, rigid, etc. Certainly God has passive, empathic, receptive dimensions as well. At leas I think so.
