Adam and Eve removed their clothes by not obeying God. Likewise we do the same when we do not put faith in Him. Faith and holy reverence is trully about taking no thought for our life. Reverence is about not following politicians or worrying about money all the time, but is about looking toward heaven instead. WE are so faithless. Its a hard truth to accept but the cross is our lot in life, and this world is not our home. To become a friend of the world is to be an enemy of God. WE must clothe ourselves in holy reverence by putting our trust in God alone. We need no politician nor life on earth. We need to go to the cross and bear it, looking toward heaven. Does this mean we will suffer always? no not necessarily, however if we live or die we belong to Him. May his will be done. I am so tired of my will, it leads only to sorrow. The cross is my joy now. Its my only comfort in this Godless world. I am blessed because i suffer, it has opened my eyes and made me see the light again. Praise the Lord. Let me die, or live, it matters not to me, i cannot afford to love it anymore because this body is one of death, not life.

So, chemistry isn't science? Seems to me there are quite a few 'proven' formulations.... but what do I know.

So, what about evolution passes the scientific method? Let's see, let's try this out.... can one species evolve into another? Systematic observation?.... well, since we don't have any evidence of macro evolution, it's rather difficult to observe. Measurement... without anything to measure, this one is moot. Experiment.... kinda hard to do experiments on something we have never seen... one could, I suppose, try and cook up some chemical primordial soup and see if it produces anything meaningful. Won't hold my breath on that one. Formulating hypothesis... at this juncture, the only hypothesis is that this theory is lame. Testing, and modification of hypotheses.... I think the only thing being tested here is a sane persons patience so the modification of the hypothesis is that macro evolution is a fairy tale.

That's my take on it Mr. Armoured, why don't you try it and see if you can replicate my findings.

For those that believe in the gap theory, can you explain how the plants survived without pollinators for thousands or millions of years?

There isn't even a gap between Genesis 1:1 and Genesis 1:2

I see evolution as another method for Satan to distract people from the power and majesty of God. Satan is envious of God for His creation power so he debunks, dismisses and generally tries to deceive mankind into not believing God is as powerful as He is.

If God can't make the heavens and the earth and everything in them in 6 days, then why do you think He can resurrect scattered dust and reanimate it when Jesus returens? Is the second coming of Christ a drawn out affair that takes millions of years to accomplish?

It targets 3 pilars of the Bible:
- Creation, man in Gods Image (represents)
- Fall of man and the resulting fallen world.
- God judging the world: the Flood
Maybe a 4th one:
- Rebellion in the heavens, the serpent's tale.

Evolution or Genesis (in my opinion)

Romans 8:5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. 8 So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His. 10 And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11 But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you..

Biblically speaking mankind has only been on this earth about 6,000 years. You can trace back to Adam if you add the dates in Genesis.

Bottom line:
Plants and animals were created again in the Garden of Eden, in presence of Adam, who God had put in there.
(They're expelled from the Garden of Eden a.k.a. Paradise in Genesis 3:23)

But what you proposed goes beyond what Scripture tells us. Essentially you are saying that there is no conflict assuming that certain things that are not described in Scripture happened. If that is how you rectify the conflict for yourself that is fine; I see it S a stretch.

Replication doesn't require the observer to personally replicate the event to be scientific. That's why astronomy is a science, even though we can't personally replicate things like supernovas. Replication of predicted and previous observation is scientific, too, and we have that for evolution.

Because a god in a bathrobe and long beard personally designing everything 6000 years ago with tweezers and magnifying glass is much more "majestic" than a God who operates across billions of years and light years.

I can post as many links to evidence of, what you erroneously call, "macro" evolution as you like. Indeed, go back far enough in my post history and You'll see I have done so previously, many times, for many poster claiming there is none. That's why I'm less inclined to do so again. I recognise the MO. Why bother when you're not goin to read it, it's freely and easily available already, and already been posted here a couple thousand times?
