Given the incredible number of miracles which have occured throughout history due to the intercessions of the Saints, it is apparent the it pleases God very much.

    "addressed" does not mean correctly!

It simply means......"Here is what I think".

Thinking is objective and truth is always illusive.

Please list those documented "miracles" that came from the interaction of saints.

The scriptures tell us that it's okay to pray to others in heaven, aside from God alone... That's why we do.

I have absolultly no bone to pick with you. You are free to exercise your choice of religion just as I am.

However.....when you openly make the comments you have you open the door for others who do not think as you do to say what they believe.

I DO NOT follow the directions of men or Popes or religion. I am a Bible literalist. What the Bible says is what I repeat!

Anyone is free to ignore what it says and what I repeat from its pages.

Now.....having said that, there is NO Scriptures in the Word of God which say that Mary is to be venerated, worshipped or to be considered above or better than any other person.!!!

Mary was just a person God used for His purposes. Because of certain misunderstandings about Mary, it is important to note that she was not chosen because she was more holy than other people. The angel’s address to her as “highly favored” and “blessed” is a reference to the uniqueness of her pending task, not to any level of virtuousness she had attained.

Mary was surely a godly woman, but that is not the point. Gabriel’s emphasis was on her privilege, not her piety. She had “found favor with God” (verse 30), but that says more about God’s goodness than Mary’s.

When we actually READ the Bible, we can see that the angel gives Mary a number of high compliments, BUT, nothing indicates that she is worthy of worship, or veneration let alone being an intercessor between Jesus Christ and His followers, or a Co-Redemptrix, sinless for her entire life, or given any other honor aside from being God's chosen vessel for the purpose of the Son of God being made flesh and blood.

Now, all of that stuff mentioned above is Catholic Denomination teaching and IS NOT FOUND ANYWHERE IN THE BIBLE.

Again, with all respect, you are free to believe it and accept it and do it, but you can not do it and say that it comes from BIBLICAL directions. That is ALL I am saying.

God chose Mary to be the mother of the Messiah for several reasons........

    1. Mary was of the right lineage.

    2. Mary was engaged to a man whose heritage would require him to visit Bethlehem at just the right time.

    3. Mary was a virgin.

    4. Mary was from Nazareth.

    Really?

I do not think that the Bible tells us that we may pray to or worship angels or saints in heaven.

It seems to me that the Bible says that Both prayer and worship should be offered to God alone because only He is worthy of prayer and worship.

    • Exodus 20:4-5, “You shall not make for yourself an idol, or any likeness of what is in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the water under the earth. 5 “You shall not worship them or serve them . . . “
    • Matt. 4:10, ” . . . You shall worship the Lord your God, and serve Him only.”
    • Luke 4:8, ” . . . You shall worship the Lord your God and serve Him only.”

Sure it does, in Psalm 103:20–21:
“Bless the Lord, O you his angels, you mighty ones who do his word, hearkening to the voice of his word! Bless the Lord, all his hosts, his ministers that do his will!”

...In this prayer, the angels are being prayed to.

@Major1, Psalm 103:20–21 even asks the Angels to bless Ministers on earth. What do you make of that?

...Surely the Angels are not being made Idols in Holy Scripture, when they are prayed to there.

This is what it means to be "The Holy Church"... That all within it are connected and are one in Christ... So then, there should be nothing wrong with the Church on earth connecting with the Church in Heaven through prayer. As outlined in the scriptures.

What do I make of that Scripture. I take it exactly as it is written.....
"Bless the LORD, O you his angels, you mighty ones who do his word, obeying the voice of his word! 21 Bless the LORD, all his hosts, his ministers, who do his will!"

"YOU ANGELS"! That is a call to the angels and it is not a prayer TO the angels!!!!!

Angels are not dead saints! They are mighty and well and obedient.

Angels were given the job of messengers and judgments......
    not dead saints.

I do not agree with your opinion brother. Look vary carefully at the Scripture and I think you will see that David is not praying to the angels, he is exhorting the heavenly angelic creatures, the mighty ones, doers of his word,by listening to his word, to bless Jehovah!

Please take the time to list those Scriptures for me!

From my understanding, No where in Scripture does it say ask dead saints to pray for you. Nowhere does it say that people in Heaven will pray for people on earth. Alive Christians on earth can pray for you, but dead people will not pray to God for you.

All I am asking you is to list the Scriptures you are talking about to verify your post!

I am responsible to share the truth of God's Word.
However, I am not responsible for anyones response to that truth.

Pigs don’t appreciate pearls, and some people don’t appreciate the truth. My calling is not to force conversions or cram the truth down people’s throats just as there’s no sense in preaching the value of pearls to swine.

I also am not called to give sarcastic responces to anyone.

Now we ALL know that you will not post any Scriptures to support your opinion because there are none!

Scripture was given, and thus rejected.

I looked very carefully, it is no different.

    Psalm 103:20–21 speaks for itself.

I just showed you in scripture where people in heaven pray for people on earth... No level of semantical gymnastics is going to change that fact.
