How about because of our animal nature?

But if that is right it probably also applies to Christians. Which is fine with some Christians but not with others. Some Christians seem to have the Hubris to think they are not animals. (Some, as in a small minority, at least I hope so).

Not sure why it should hurt anyone's ego to admit we're animals. If anything, it should hurt other animals to learn we're one of them.

Love covers many sins, at one time I didn't believe either, this will help you believe if you study it.

3. Therefore, God exists.
