During the Bush administration and also before that going back to the 1960s, the left (as a group) used to be known for anti-war protests and known for saying they wanted peace. But now there's a lot of talk coming from popular pundits on the left expressing anger and frustration that the U.S. isn't doing enough to provoke various countries in ways that would lead us into wars. Why did the left (as a group) change? By the way, I favor avoidance of wars unless there's no way to avoid it.
I want to make it clear that I'm not saying this about every person who identifies as being to the left.
