Yeah, nowhere near as bad as the lies Kavanaugh told about his yearbook. As lies go, that would hardly be a blip on the radar.

It would have gone against the Dem strategy of block and delay.Grassley Corrects Ford: Committee Did Offer to Fly to Her; Ford Won’t Say if Lawyers Relayed Offer to Her
Chairman Grassley spoke up to set the record straight about Ford’s claim the committee couldn’t come to her:
“Dr. Ford, I want to correct the record, but it’s not something that I’m saying that you stated wrongly, because you may not know the fact that, when you said that you did not think that it was possible for us to go to California as a committee, or investigators to go to California to talk to you – we did, in fact, offer that to you. And, we had the capability of doing it, and we would have done it, anywhere or any time.”
Your thoughts?
Would you believe it if President Trump said he has a fear of flying?I wouldn't say she lied about it. I have a fear of flying ... but in cases of emergencies ... which are very very rare, I will do it and am extremely uncomfortable the whole time.
Would you believe it if President Trump said he has a fear of flying?
Then you would believe President Trump? Is that what you're saying?Anyone can have fear of flying, doesn't mean they don't do it.
She's being HANDLED by an ex FBI agent, who just so happens to be her BFF in High School, and they then roomed together for a bit in California. When she testified under oath she stated she was in Rehoboth Beach Delaware when she wrote Diane Finestein the 2nd letter. Guess who lives there ? Her BFF, the retired FBI Agent Ms Monica L McLean.Your thoughts?
I don't think she lied, about that, anyway.
I think her lawyers were lying to her and to Congress.
That needs to be investigated if true.
I'm still looking for any evidence that she or her lawyers ever claimed that her fear of flying prevented her from appearing. Copying from another thread (which has been closed (not because of me!)).
An unnamed Republican senator says the GOP has been told that she doesn't want to fly (not that she refuses to come or is prevented from doing so). Absent a better source, this is not enough to hang a charge of lying on her."
Or maybe I am just way ahead of the curve.....What in the world are you even talking about? This is rapidly going into feverish conspiracy territory.
Ringo
As I said, I doubt it was her lie as much as others lying for her.
"The GOP has been told that Ford does not want to fly from her California home to Washington, according to the Republican senator, which means she may need to drive across the country to make the hearing. Ford has reportedly told friends she is uncomfortable in confined spaces, indicating a physical difficulty in making the trip by plane."
Christine Blasey Ford will drive across country because she doesn't like airplanes
Or maybe I am just way ahead of the curve.....

Friend of Dr. Ford Felt Pressure to Revisit Statement
At issue is statement to committee that she knew nothing about alleged sexual assault by Brett Kavanaugh.
Friend of Dr. Ford Felt Pressure to Revisit Statement
A friend of Christine Blasey Ford told FBI investigators that she felt pressured by Dr. Ford’s allies to revisit her initial statement that she knew nothing about an alleged sexual assault by a teenage Brett Kavanaugh, which she later updated to say that she believed but couldn’t corroborate Dr. Ford’s account, according to people familiar with the matter.
Leland Keyser, who Dr. Ford has said was present at the gathering where she was allegedly assaulted in the 1980s, told investigators that Monica McLean, a retired Federal Bureau of Investigation agent and a friend of Dr. Ford’s, had urged her to clarify her statement, the people said.
The statement to the FBI offers a glimpse into how Dr. Ford’s allies were working behind the scenes to lobby old classmates to bolster their versions of the alleged incident, as were Judge Kavanaugh’s.
Judge Kavanaugh, whose Supreme Court nomination will be debated in the Senate Friday, has denied the allegations of sexual misconduct.
Oh yea, I was right all along. They were trying to get Leland Keyser to change her story, that means to lie !! That is why the investigation wrapped up so fast folks.
Grassley sent a letter to Mrs Ford and her lawyers and stated that in light of new information that has uncovered he wants all communications between Mrs Ford and:
I told you she was lying, and told you last night about her EX FBI Agent/Handler Monica McLean.
- Diane Finestiens staff, and Sen. Hirono.
- With Alleged Witnesses identified by Mrs Ford, (Leland Keyser, Mark Judge and Patrick "P.J." Smyth)
- Debbie Ramirez, Julie Swetnick and/or their representatives.
That newspapers quoting lawyers, not the actual texts which the FBI have and which the Senators making the decisions have. They tried to get her to lie !! My initial point as per Monica McLean was spot on, the letter to Diane Finestien was written from her house in Rehoboth Beach De. and Mrs Ford's long time friend Leland Keyser was denoted a an HE not a SHE..........So it looks like someone else wrote her letter and just assumed Leland was a man.Asking someone to clarify an initial statement doesn't strike me as the grand conspiracy you seem to think it is. She made a statement, her friends thought it was not completely accurate, she clarified. This happens all the time. How desperate are you?

Charles Grassley in a letter to Mrs Ford and her lawyers last night told Mrs Ford and her lawyers that in light of new information he wants to know what contacts she had with:
1. Dem Senators, especially Diane Finestien and Sen. Hirono.
2. With Alleged Witnesses identified by Mrs Ford, (Leland Keyser, Mark Judge and Patrick "P.J." Smyth)
3. Debbie Ramirez, Julie Swetnick and/or their representatives.
So stay tuned, they have info you are not privy to. The guy that gt caught Doxing was also charged with WITNESS TAMPERING !! Boom.
That was what the LAWYER stated was said......you don't think that is what was really said do you ?Asking someone to clarify a statement is not "witness tampering". If you're so sure of Kav's innocence, why bother with conspiracy theories?
Ringo
Huh? What are you babbling about? A lawyer asked Ford to clarify and she did. Somehow, this is being seen as worse than Watergate for...some reason. I don't even know. That was what the LAWYER stated was said......you don't think that is what was really said do you ?
