That's an entirely different thing, albeit "straight from the Scriptures."

We all agree, I think, that Satan is loose in the world. And I suppose that we all agree that he dangles various temptations in front of us, such as political power and wealth. BUT the issue here is whether there is a special "club" of Satan worshippers with a particular organization and name that we can identify and which is already ruling most of the world's institutions through some local lodges or websites or whatever else one wants to imagine. THAT is the fantasy I was cautioning against, even though I know that it makes people feel "in the know" to think that they have secret information that the average person isn't aware of.

shturt i would have to agree with you about the "illuminati" controlling the world and have been for a long time. But of course, we can't do that.

The NWO conspiracy theorists don't claim that there are bad people all over the world. It's alleged to be a CONSPIRACY, Mr. schturt. That means--and they themselves say that it means--that a single cadre of people control all the levers of power.

It's not a "conspiracy" if people just do whatever it is on their own.

There are not all the same people. Not sure how much of it you looked at but the Jesuits created the Illumunati and the Freemasons to do their dirty work while they remain in the background appearing to be uninvolved.

They use a principle called the Hegelian principle which means that you control both sides of an ideology and conflict them against each other until you eventually come up with the result you want. For instance, democrats and republicans, left wing and right wing. Why is it that the principles remain the same regardless of whether the government is democratic or republican. That's just a cover.
