Looking closer at what happened to justify us.
We remember Abraham was justified ( by believing in Gods promise and oath) That gave glory to God.
That same justification comes to us, if we believe the same promise fulfilled. ( giving glory to God)
Romans 4:2 For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God.
Romans 4:24 But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;
25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.
Justification comes by the Spirit of God, and by the name given into all the world to hear of, Jesus Christ.
If we seek to be justified by Christ, we cant be found sinners, or we are transgressors ( destroyers)
Jesus was justified in the Spirit, the same as we are ( by the Spirit of faith)
2 Corinthians 4:13 We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;
1 Corinthians 6:11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
Galatians 2:17 But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid.
18 For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor.
1 Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
Again n Abraham, how was he justified ?
By hearing God, and we are justified in the same way, that is why these testimonies are created for us to believe and to be justified by the works of God.
James 2:21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?
James 2:24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.
