The term "angel" and "messenger" are the same words in both Hebrew and in Greek. Thus a messenger of God can even be a human messenger as in the case of Malachi whose name means "my messenger."

Angels are indeed messengers of God and there are places in the Scriptures in which The term, "the Angel of the Lord," is believed to be the pre-incarnated Jesus Christ, and the term usually found for those appearances, are called "theophanies."

There are other places in the Bible where there is little doubt, the character involved, was also the pre-incarnated Jesus. Such as the third angel, Abraham called the Lord, in Gen.18:1-15 In another place, the 'man' who wrestled with Jacob, whom he called God, in Gen.32:24-28. And again in Jos.5:13-15, where He was the Commander of God's armies from heaven. Also in Dan.3:24-25 when the king of Babylon saw four men in his firey furnace when he had only thrown three in. Another one is in Dan.12:6-7, about the 'man' dressed in linen, standing above the river.

In most of the cases you've provided, I would argue that they were angels rather than Jesus. I do think the man who wrestled with Jacob could have been Jesus, though. Eusebius the historian promoted this idea.

All angels refuse to be worshipped but two in bible , Lucifer and Jesus Christ before he was born , you can study battle of Jericho , the angel said that this is Holy Ground before him and he fought war on Sabbath because Jesus is Lord of Sabbath .

Jesus also appeared with two other angels to Abraham and Abraham tells his wife to prepare cake or something .

I've begun to believe that angels are people who have repented of their sin.

I'm going to go there and say there is no scriptural evidence that this is the case.

It can't be Gabriel because that name was given in the scripture.

The name of this messenger of the Lord, is not given to us in the Old Testament.

    Judges 13
17 Manoah said to the angel of the Lord, “What is your name, so that when your words come to pass, we may honor you?” 18 But the messenger of the Lord said to him, “Why do you ask my name, seeing it is wonderful?”

A few verses later Manoah says.

22 So Manoah said to his wife, we will surely die, for we have seen God.

    Did Manoah see God?

Of course. The Angel (Messenger) of the Lord is actually God Himself! And He is also Archangel Michael. See the link I provided in my previous post.

I see it differently to the linked article you provided.

Michael is a named angel in the Old Testament.

The messenger of the Lord refuses to yield His name when asked.

Michael was the angel that looked after the nation of Israel.

Where as the messenger of the Lord, speaks in the first person as God.

The ground on which the messenger of the Lord stands, is holy ground.

Moses knew that if he looked at the messenger, he would be looking at God in the burning bush.

The Messenger of YHWH was certainly not a mere angel, nor was the name of this messenger, a simple everyday name.

You need to study closer on what the name, Michael, in Hebrew means. It's of Hebrew origin [miykael] and most nearly means "He who is assuredly God". So "Archangel" simply means "highest or greatest messenger." Christ is the first or chief Messenger of God or Messenger of the Covenant. He assuredly is God, and that is what the tile that God gave His Messenger "Michael" signifies.

    Daniel 12:1
[1] And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

Note it says "the great prince." Who would be described as the Great Prince who stands up for the people of Israel, but Christ? No one else qualifies as the Great Prince or ruler to help in this time of trouble, and subsequent raising of the dead to life in the day of judgment. No angel has power to resurrect the dead. Indeed Christ is illustrated as this Great Prince throughout Scripture that you should double check:

    Isaiah 9:6
[6] For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

In this Great Prince only, do we stand in a time of trouble, and only in this great Prince do we find our help. Because He stands for His People, Israel. He is our justifier, strength, Deliverer and Saviour.

    Acts 5:30-31
[30] The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree.
[31] Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

This is the Great Prince who is most certainly God, and who stands for the People of God. That is what the title, "Michael" stands for! And God declares that, besides this God, there is NO Savior (Isaiah 43:11, iSAIAH 45:21).

    Revelation 1:5
[5] And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

Again, the Great Prince, the Prince of all the Kings of the earth. Because He stands for us, we stand in righteousness for Him. No better is this illustrated than what we find in Ephesians chapter 6:

    Ephesians 6:11-14
[11] Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
[12] For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
[13] Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
    [14] Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

We stand against the enemies because Christ, our Archangel Michael, one who assuredly is God, stands for us! Selah!

Scripture does indicate that all angelic beings were created before the earth was created
They are never even hinted at being mortal as they can intercede between the natural world and the spiritual world , believe what you so desire but if serving Jesus is really important to you seek Him and ask Him and He will answer you -
    Proverbs 3:5-6

What does it mean to lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6)?

The Bible does not tell us "everything:rolleyes: ", but it tells us what we need to know. We are brothers to Lord Jesus who is the first born.

I don't consider it a matter of major importance. It just makes sense to me.

Perhaps it's fair to say that the Bible "introduces" us to the Lord.
