What??? Nope I use John 14:26; John 16:13, John 7:17 and John 8:31-32. God destroys the wisdom of the wise because his Word is higher then the heavens and can only be revealed as a gift to those who seek him by faith.

Welcome to this thread and very nice to meet you here. I enjoyed reading your post above. I had not thought about the fig tree representing the old covenant. I think it can also represent those who profess to be christian but do not have the fruit of obedience by faith.

JOHN 15:1-8

Regardless of the covenant, Israel is Israel, and the Church is the Church. The only people who are members of both are Messianic Jews. Paul speaks figuratively of "true Jews" who have "circumcised hearts" -- we Jews will speak this way as well, telling certain Gentiles that they are more Jewish than many Jews we know. It doesn't mean they are really Jews. Believers are part of the commonwealth of Israel -- that is NOT the same thing as saying they are Israel. Israel has its covenant, with the promise being the land of Canaan. The Church has its covenant, with the promise being eternal life. Don't make the mistake of equating the two.

Sorry there is no scripture for your teaching. If you are not a part of God's ISRAEL as defined in the NEW TESTAMENT you have no part in the NEW COVENANT.

The name Israel belongs to Jesus Christ, who is the rightful heir of God. Jacob was called temporarily Israel, until The Royal Priestly King Jesus Christ sat on the right had of the Father and the keys of David were given to him. All dominion, power and authority is given in his hands.

If people don't fall under the Royal Priestly King, then they are declared as gentiles, regardless of genealogy.

God does not concern himself with fleshly nations after his Son's Cross.

It would be blasphemous to call a fleshly gentile nation in the middle east as Israel, knowing that there is only one Israel.

It is apparent that either people will boast of flesh or will boast of God the Holy Spirit.

Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires.The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace. The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God.

People who openly say, that the New Covenant Church under the Royal Priestly King Jesus Christ is NOT THE Israel, is a mind governed by the flesh, having hostilities towards God and his Christ.

This is the replacement theology advocated by those, whose mind is governed by the flesh.

Those who deny/refuse Israel's redemption and restoration jeopardize their own. Because it proves they do not know the love, mercy, long suffering, and grace of God. How can you understand that God redeems, saves and restores the people of the nations, but refuse to allow him, as continuously promised throughout scripture, to redeem, save and restore 'the people' of Israel whom he loves? If you understand the judgment placed upon the nation of Israel you would not so easily step in their shoes and do what they did. When you deny the redemption of God's people you fall under the judgement just the same. What befalls fallen Israel befalls the fallen anywhere. Yet, God's word is not mocked nor in vain. The church is not the fallen tent of David, it's a physical misrepresentation of it. A physical misrepresentation claiming to be a spiritual representation of this tent. Stop removing and replacing the people of Israel from scripture.

God intervened means he ADDED to, not replaced. The subject was that God ADDED a people for his name from the nations. And that this was what the tent of David represented, a tabernacle of worship to God from ALL peoples of the world. Not the nations minus Israel. Not the nations who have become Israel (through Jesus).

No one is denying Israel's redemption. What is being shared here is who God's WORD defines who God's ISRAEL is.

God's ISRAEL in the NEW COVENANT are all those who BELIEVE and FOLLOW God's WORD. Gentiles are now grafted in.

If you read the scriptures in the OP they define who God's ISRAEL are in the OLD and NEW Testament.

God's ISRAEL according to the scriptures are all those who BELIEVE and FOLLOW God's WORD. Gentiles are now grafted in. If you are not a part of God's ISRAEL you have no part in the NEW COVENANT promise.

The fruit is OBEDIENCE to God's WORD and a NEW HEART to believe and follow God by faith that works by LOVE through walking in God's SPIRIT (Righteousness by faith in God's WORD).

The NEW COVENANT is for both Jews and Greek, bond and free, all those who are in Christ. All in Christ are the seed of Abraham and heirs according to the promise.

No more Jew or Greek, bond or free, male or female, if you are in Christ you are ISRAEL...

GALATIANS 3:28-29 [28], THERE IS NEITHER JEW NOR GREEK, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: FOR YOU ALL ONE IN CHRIST JESUS AND IF YOU BE CHRISTS, THEN YOU ARE ABRAHAM'S SEED FOR YOU ARE ALL ONE IN CHRIST JESUS [29], and IF YOU BE CHRISTS, THEN ARE YOU ABRAHAM'S SEED, AND HEIRS ACCORDING TO THE PROMISE.

God's true ISRAEL in the NEW COVENANT are not by name only but all those in Christ. Those of the FLESH (sinful human nature) are not Abrahams seed but those who BELIEVE and FOLLOW God in Christ are God's ISRAEL...

God's ISRAEL are all those in CHRIST that have been given a NEW HEART according to the NEW COVENANT promise...

ROMANS 2:28-29 [28], FOR HE IS NOT A JEW WHICH IS ONE OUTWARDLY; NEITHER IS THAT CIRCUMCISION, WHICH IS OUTWARDS IN THE FLESH: [29], BUT HE IS A JEW WHICH IS ONE INWARDLY; and CIRCUMCISION IS OF THE HEART, IN THE SPIRIT, AND NOT IN THE LETTER; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

In the NEW COVENANT all those in Christ are are God's ISRAEL...

COLOSSIANS 3:11 [11], WHERE THERE IS NEITHER JEW NOR GREEK circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: BUT CHRIST IS ALL IN ALL.

ROMANS 10:11-13 [11], For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. [12], FOR THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE BETWEEN JEW OR GREEK: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. [13], FOR WHOSOEVER SHALL CALL UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD SHALL BE SAVED.

The New Covenant is for God's Israel...

EZEKIEL 36:26-27 [26], A NEW HEART WILL I GIVE YOU, AND A NEW SPIRIT WILL I PUT WITHIN YOU; AND I WILL TAKE AWAY THE STONY HEART OUT OF YOUR FLESH, AND GIVE YOU A HEART OF FLESH. [34], And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, says the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

The NEW COVENANT is for GOD'S ISRAEL which represent those who BELIEVE and FOLLOW God’s WORD. If you are not part of GOD'S ISRAEL then you are not a part of the NEW COVENANT. Gentiles are now grafted in to God's ISRAEL (Romans 11:16-27)

ISRAEL is the name given by God to all those who BELIEVE and FOLLOW his WORD. God's WORD is given to all those who BELIEVE and FOLLOW it by faith.

Your title is interesting. But why is your first statement about Christians? What are Christians graft into? Is it Israel? My Bible says "among them" and doesn't imply becoming Israel of possessing commonwealth of/in Israel.

ISRAEL is only a name given by God to his people. As the OP shows inthe NEW TESTAMENT God's ISRAEL are all those who BELIEVE and FOLLOW his WORD. This can be shown all through the OLD and NEW Testament and the NEW COVENANT. If you are not a part of God's ISRAEL you have no part in the NEW COVENANT Gentiles are now grafted in *ROMANS 11:13-27; *HEBREWS 8:10-12.
