why, are you one of the mega rich?

I'm not for the mega rich. I'm for not showing favoritism to anyone regardless of how much or how little God has blessed someone. It is called fairness. I'm not against our government taking 50% if they do it to everyone. God in his own old law required everyone to give 10% of what they had not just the wealthy but everyone. Attacking someone just because they are rich ( or overly blessed by God ) is bigotry. If you are unwilling to do what you want to force others to do is hypocrisy. It is a sin.
If a rich person is guilty of greed then God will deal with him. The same goes for a greedy poor person. Some times the only way God can bless someone is by wealth and that blessing last only a shot time, then comes Judgment.

Like most progressive ideas they are sinful. The reason that the mega rich get out of paying there share of Taxes is because the progressive tax system is corrupt, if we had a flat Tax everyone would be paying and no one would be a free loader. Senator Ted Kennedy who was a big proponent of the Progressive tax and "let's get the rich" for years had a section of the Tax code just for him and his family that gave them huge tax breaks so he and his family paid very little. He was the biggest hypocrite in America.

I sometimes wonder whether God or Satan is currently in control of this world.

Let me give just one example: A famine in Africa. We’ve all seen the pictures on TV of people starving to death; even children. Now we could say that this is all man’s fault because if everyone worked together on the continent of Africa, it could be one of the wealthiest continents on the planet. Think about it – Africa has precious minerals like gold, diamonds, a desert area where sunshine could be turned into electricity, wetter areas to grow crops, wonderful beaches and game reserves for tourists, oil for fuel and so on. But instead of working together for the common good, we see corruption, fighting, barbarity in the name of a god called “Allah”, etc. So we could put the blame 100% on man’s actions. But what about if a significant cause could be attributed to lack of rainfall. It begs the question, why doesn’t God at least send rain to help people grow their crops and feed themselves? Or is Satan being allowed to wreak even more misery that he has already done since the fall of creation? Or (third option), is the planet running on autopilot and as such, these things are bound to happen? Has anyone any ideas on this that they could share?

always keep in mind the culture too because they practice alot of witchcraft in Africa which is backed by demons. so its posible that its a curse from God but on the flip side they are wide and open for Satans dominion because they are on his side of the fence (like alot of the world). so its really hard to say who does what and at what time because of how unrighteous the world is. this question leaves us trying to tell the difference between righteous wrath and unjust punishment.

Then why did you just boldly say in your first comment that the world is getting better, and when you have no proof to back it up, you just say that you will prove it later? Like who does that?

Violence could erupt in a world war for all we know. How can we say its getting better? We dont know what tomorrow will bring.

Here is one by the FBI crime data center: 1960 Violent crime was 160.9 per 100,000 people in 2015 it was 380.2 per 100,000 people. That is a big jump in the wrong direction.

I agree, but I believe it is still the case that, in most of the important senses, the world is indeed getting better over time.
