Brother, the two translations agree that Jesus rose on the night of the seventh day, before the first day at sunrise, as defined in Genesis below. The NASB version has an invented emergent phrase of the context composed of multiple passages that speak of the same event: "the first day of the week". The CLV version offers something closer to what God really wrote in the Scriptures: "the first of the Sabbaths". What God really said confirms my discovery that the first day in Genesis is from the first light to light again in the morning or from morning to morning and that Israel's Sabbath shows that there are many site dependent Sabbaths, the first is in Eden, where it is the seventh full day from morning to morning compared to the more complex Sabbath in Israel taking part of the sixth day and part of the seventh day. The resurrection of Jesus on Sunday is a deception of Satan to replace the Sabbath so that Christians are not ready when Jesus returns. Why does my translation (NASB) differ from your translation... One of these translations is wrong.
And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day. (Genesis 1:3-5 NIV)
United in our hope of the soon return of Jesus, Jorge
