They are still elect Paul said, as the calling and gifts from God are without repentance, meaning He won't go back on them. When our Lord Jesus returns, then He will remove their blindness, and then they will make their choice to believe on Jesus, or not.

There are two different groups of "they" in the passage below.

Rom 11:28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes.
Rom 11:29 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.

All of the Israelites were not partially blinded.
Part were blinded and part were not, as found in Romans 11:1-5.


Based on the parable of the virgins in Matthew chapter 25, and the fact that Christ returns "in flaming fire" taking vengeance on those who do not know God in 2 Thessalonians 1:7-10, how will anyone be saved at Christ's Second Coming?
