That's because brains are actually flat....and cannot be wrapped around anything.

On a serious note, I watched a documentary on Netflix or Hulu about flat earthers....and it was interesting to say the least. They ultimately engage in some wide ranging and bizarre conspiracy theories....because there needs to be a motive behind the scientific and educational community's promotion of the whole "globe" idea.

Once they reach that point....they've got all the familiar symptoms of other conspiracy theory groups.

"Beyond the Curve" (the netflix doc.) was pretty great, I thought. It showed how the flat earth movement is MORE about creating and being part of a COMMUNITY than it is about investigating, considering evidence and doing the science behind a flat earth.

It had a lot of interviews with some prominent flat earthers. It also included a group trying to use science to "prove" a flat earth and amusingly....kept disproving it to their frustration.
