I love Mary and I love observing the hours of the divine office.

Please don't rush. It involves vows.It is difficult indeed...
Hard pick.

you could solve that problem by becoming a Salesian; they have both priests and lay working together. www.salesianmissions.orgWhat does happen to a third order member if he becomes a priest?
No. I was going to. But I tried it out on my own first, and found that I lacked the self discipline to pray the Hours on my own. For me to do something like that I would need the support of a community. I do pray continually during the day, but they are the sort of improvised prayers that I grew up praying my whole life. Are you O.F.S yourself?
yep I would agree with that advice. I've been reading the vocation stories of three of our young men in the Diocese who are being ordained next Saturday. and for all three while the pathway was different for each one, they all wound up choosing the priesthood. So yes, I would say that discernment is definitely important.I was sent away as the leader ment I would have to my discern my possible vocation to the priesthood prior to getting involved in a order.
It makes sense I guess, thanks for advices peeps
