Once again you are having to supply your own context and ignore the one that is there. It is about countries, places, governments and the condition of those countries. He plainly was saying go to those countries and fix them if you have the solutions.

This is a post hoc justification for his statement. This is the standard Trump game. He says something horrifically racist and then people defend him by creating some unseen back-story or subtext that was not there.

There is literally no way Trump meant that. He saw four brown women and like Obama he simply thought they can't be American because Americans are all white. Like him.

Trump DOES have a history of racism. It's written in public records going back to the 1970's.

Right or wrong, good or bad... it has nothing to do with race.

Except that 3/4 of those women were from AMERICA. But they are all women of color. It has EVERYTHING to do with race.

You are supplying that, and are wrong to do so.

NO. Trump said something horrible. It is on his supporters if they don't denounce it now. We know what he is. We just need an indicator that his followers are better people than he wishes them to be.

Four Republicans — Will Hurd, Brian Fitzpatrick, Fred Upton and Susan Brooks — and independent Justin Amash joined Democrats in voting for the resolution [to censure Trump for his racist tweets].

Although not a lawmaker, Kellyanne Conway is not among those critical of the president.
I feel like I've woken up on a different planet. . .

She certainly defended Trump against the 'fact check' that three of the four Congresswomen were born in the US.
Too bad it amounts to saying that he really does want to send certain US citizens back to the countries their ancestors came from.

(((And bonus style points for asking a Jew.)))

Indeed. I don't think it was purposeful (which would require a level of foresight I doubt Conway possesses) that the question was asked of a Jew, but that it was, and in such a bitter manner, does more to show the moral character of some of these people that just defies belief.

Well, ethnicity is important when one questions the President... since no Normal American would question the President, it helps the administration determine who's next on The List.

Agreed -- that was just luck.

Of course. "Normal" being whomever they deem to be so. Blind agreement and support seem to be the new 'normal.'

Only four condemned the President's hate tweets without saying

BUT

The Squad is socialist, anti-American, etc. They only felt free to rightfully condemn the tweets by making the Squad seem far worse.

No buts. Wrong is wrong.

Still... the fact that they condemned Great Leader on the record is a glimmer of hope.
