I’ve been reading the New Testament in Arabic for the last few days, but lately I’ve been thinking of reading something of the Old Testament that would really help me in my position of trying to understand theology and doing apologetics.

We teamed up with Faith Counseling. Can they help you today?

for one, join the Church first. you can't be an apologist until you are a member of the Body of Christ.

after that, I'd say start with Psalms.

I don't think so. be that as it may, Melkites aren't members of the Church. if he wants to do apologetics for Melkites, he should ask the RC forum.

I’m planning to talk to both catholic priests and orthodox priests this summer to get a good view of which makes more sense.
