A lot of fireworks sounding in my neighborhood right now, 9 PM, on the fourth.

Now I know where all the stimulus check money went.....

I spent mine in a minibike. I then proceeded to injur my self on said minibike and ended up putting an additional 10k into the economy through medical care and other direct expenses.

shoulda bought fireworks...... in retrospect. Live and learn I guess.

I am resting it off as I type this. Both my legs and my right hand are in casts . I had a concussion at the time but no permanent brain or nerve damage.

I have been laid up for 2 weeks and I have 4 more until I can do PT. But the prognosis is good and my doctor says I will make a full recovery so I can't complain. Been watching a lot of old TV though. Hulu and Netflix and Disney + is worth every penny.

I watch a lot of old wrestling on You Tube, Jerry Lawler era.

The only ones I am familiar with are the Simpsons. I am 71 years old.

I've been spending it on online foreign language lessons, so I've been supporting the economies of a number of different countries, none of which are this one.
