The war in the Middle East will not end until the antichrist steps in. The fight is between brothers. But the hatred for the Israel nation is deep

    >>To most of the world, as it stands now, America is justified in her act of retaliation against Afghanistan

It is not really a question of retaliation. There were two problems in Afghanistan that needed to be resolved. The first problem was their education system. The young boys were taught to hate Americans, but worse as they got older they were sent off to terrorist school. Even people were going to Afganstan from all over the world, to learn how to be a terrorist. We had to go in there and at least eliminate those terrorist schools. But just bombing them was no sure thing they would not rebuild. We are not talking the waldorf, the building could be put up for maybe $1000 each, just simple mud brick structures with some sort of a roof on them.

The other problem is we need to get into Afganstan with the Gospel. Jesus is coming soon, and we have been told to take this Gospel to the very ends of the earth. That is the same problem with North Korea and Iran. We need to open them up so we can go in with the Gospel.

As far as the problem with terrorism. It is God who restrains evil in this world, and He will continue to restrain it, tell we get the job done of preaching this gospel to the whole world. Of course those who walk with God are the ones who will be protected. But some of that protection is in know where to go and where not to go. That is why we need to be sure we are right with God, and lead by God in whatever we do. Thanks, JohnR7

    >>" Jerusalem will be trodden under foot until
the times of the gentiles be fulfilled.".

The Bible says that one third of Isreal will be saved (through fire). One third will die from the sword, and one third will die from pestilance.

(I hate those little bugs, they are public enemy number one around here. Do you know the best way to get rid of them is to cook them at a tempeture over 140 degrees. Any other methoid will kill only the lava or the bugs but not both. People think they can freeze them, but that only kills the bugs, not the lava).

The time of the gentiles is the age of grace, beginning at Pentacost. The Spirit of grace and truth is IN the Church. The only way the "time of the gentiles" can be fulfilled is to remove the Church from the Earth. Of course the dead, harlot, apostate church will still be here, the hyprocrates, because they do not have the Holy Spirit.

Then this world will go back under law, and that will not be a pretty sight. There will be no more grace, only a eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth. Also, that is when the witness and testimony for God will return to the Jewish people. There will be 144,000 witnesses for God. 12,000 from each tribe. I think just what God is doing there is pretty amazing. To prepare 12,000 Hebrews from each tribe to be ready to serve Him at that time is wonderful.

    >>I just can't wait for the Kingodm of God!!

The Kingdom of God is already on the inside of us. We have Eden on the inside of us now. Even then, it is not so much a quetion of waiting. It is up to us to go out and conquer this world for Christ. As I said, our church has a missionary team of 100 people returning from Swaziland right now. We are rejoicing that another nation has been won for God. It was a lot of work, we went though a rather intense 6 month period of sanctification and preperation. But it was well worth it. I am really looking forward to them getting back, I really miss them. They will be here for the Friday night Healing service. What a time of rejoicing and celebration that will be. The pastor said a thousand tongues could not tell all the stories of the wonderful work God has been doing in Swaziland.

The last nation we will go to in Africa will be Ethiopia, their crown jewel. From there, I think the plan is to go to Asia, and from Asia to the middle east. With maybe a quick trip to Europe to raise some support. Sometimes we just kinda take it one day at a time. Thanks, JohnR7

    >>I think that we should stick to "your either for us or against us" and not worry about who we upset.

Why not, that is God's plan. There is no middle ground with God. Luke warm people are counted as against God. We have to be on fire, and living right. Thanks, JohnR7

Quite simply, America is no where in bible prophecy. This shows that WE are not the last days generation.

    >>This is a great time to be alive.

The best day to be alive will be the day before Jesus comes. Not the best day for the world of course. That will be the end of God's grace for them.

Everything for us just keeps getting better and better. But for those who do not know God, it keeps getting worse and worse. Thanks, JohnR7

    Hello John,
Last week I told you that I enjoyed your perspective on some of the doctrine in the Bible. I don't know where you became my enemy. It now appears that you are trying to attack everything I say, line by line. While I would agree that we all have our own opinions, I don't agree at all with your view of Prophecy. I will not argue the points you just made, but something must have gone to your head. Now this thread is starting to get off subject. And I am no longer enjoying your perspective.

All of sudden you sound like a puppet on a string. I liked your posts better before. I do not know if I agree with you or not, but you do present a Christian perspective and one I think we should examine.

I would not be offended, just because the suggestion was made that maybe we should start up a thread to discuss the issue you bring forward.

To be sure when it comes to being a christian, we very much are fighting a war, for the sake of the Kingdom of God. But our weapons are not carnal, nor of this world.

2 Cor. 10:4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds,

But are we not also an American Citizen? Do we not as a American have a right to defend our nation? I am just asking. I KNOW that the Early Church WOULD not fight to defend Jerusalem against the Romans. That is pretty much what caused the seperation between the Hebrews and the Christians into two seperate religions.

Does that still apply to Christians today, that we are not to fight to defend our nation? Thanks, JohnR7

    >>I don't know where you became my enemy.

I am not your enemy. Last I check, I am still a Son of God. If you also belong to God, then that makes us brothers. From what I have seen, that you have written, it looks to me like you are a child of the living God.

    >>It now appears that you are trying to attack everything I say, line by line.

I am not attacking you. But I do deal with things line by line, that is just my style. My attitude is that we can both learn from each other. I can help you, and you can help me to grow in the Lord.

If I did not think I was able to help you or if you were not able to help me, then this conversation would be a total waste of time and I would not even be here. Time is very short and we have to make the best use of what time we are given.

Ephes. 5:16 redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

If you do not feel I have anything to contribute to help you to grow closer to God in wisdom and in strength, and if you do not feel you have anything to contribute to help me, then I guess we have no conversation.

That was not my feeling at all, but now it seems to be your attitude. I am not here to tear anyone down. I am here to build them up and encourage them in the Lord. Thanks, JohnR7

Philip. 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

Philip. 2:5 Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus:

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

    John,
My statements are already there. It appears that you are holding them up in question. It does not appear that you are looking for help, or trying to help. Just a bunch of rambling on and on. I would be glad to answer any question you may have. I am here to serve. I might not be able to answer all questions, and if not, I will let you know.

Sorry you feel I have nothing to contribute to your conversation. Is this like grade school where they do not pick you to be on their team? Thanks, JohnR7

    G'day JohnR7,

    You made the following comment:
"The time of the gentiles is the age of grace, beginning at Pentacost. The Spirit of grace and truth is IN the Church. The only way the "time of the gentiles" can be fulfilled is to remove the Church from the Earth. Of course the dead, harlot, apostate church will still be here, the hyprocrates, because they do not have the Holy Spirit."

The time of the Gentiles is already fulfilled -it ended with the Lord's coming in judgment on the Harlot -Jerusalem, in AD70 at the destruction of Jerusalem and its Temple. This was the total ending of the old covenant and the total consumation of the new covenant. We NOW live in what the NT calls -"the age to come."

    Hello davo,
Apparently you are one of them. I am only guessing, but are you a Jehovahs Witness?? I asked some others, that seem very proud of their religion, which sounds very much like yours. But, for some unknown reason, they won't say exactly what denomination they are from. Just curious.

    G'day rollin',

No I'm not a Jehovah's Witness, nor any other form of futurist i.e., some one who is STILL waiting for their salvation to be complete, by denying Christ has come in judgment on the old covenant.

Yep, I'm definitely "one of them" -if being one means accepting that Christ's Coming was ALL about the end of the old covenant age (world) of biblical Judaism, and not about the end of our time/space physical universe. And the ushering in of God's New Covenant through Christ's completed victory over sin and death at His Parousia around AD70 -in accordance with the NT's clear teaching.

    blessings mate!

That's not true, we are in the Bible,
Lion with eagle wings, that's the USA
It goes on to say that the wings were plucked off and it was made to stand as a man and that a man's heart was given to it. Where did we come from England who symbol is the lion.

    Hello davo,
I see where you have gone wrong. You have tripped over the covenants. Why do you think that the Church Age already ended?? Are we not still living under the same teachings as Jesus laid down?? The only judgment that has occurred from God since then, is that the Holy Spirit convicts people, so as they will know that they are sinners and need the blood of Christ. There has not been the physical, literal judgment of the nations, but it is coming soon. Nothing has changed in almost 2000 years. See ya

Daniel 7:1-8 Where it describes the beasts of Daniels dream it also says that these beast are nations and their rulers There are four beast, the lion with eagles wing,(England w/ usa), the bear(russia), the leopard(germany-4 heads represent the four reichs) and the ten horn beast that does not include the eagle, but all the rest from above. The fact that these nations now exist means that we ar in the last days or end of time.
The reason that the eagle's wings isn't apart of the ten horn beast is because I believe we will not join any one world government for the simple fact that we will not want to give up our freedoms. The ten horn kingdom is the one world government, maybe the EU. They are gaining in power daily. They are at this present time forming their own constitution and will have one president by the yr ' 04. They want to be known as the United States of Europe. It's funny that they are sending peace keepers to the middle east right as we speak. go to www.endtime.com for more info

Hey rollin', the only way to trip over something is to not see it -either through ignorance or blind stupidity. And Christ's 2nd Coming is ALL about "covenants" -the ending of the Old and the completion of the New. And the fact that you can't grasp this hinders you from seeing the truth of "fulfilled prophecy" and consequently tripping over it yourself -however I understand your predicament as I too was once a futurist -though not as you are, yet futurist none the less.

I'm wondering what and where I said something that tells you that I think your so called "Church Age" is over. If by church age you mean the age of the Gospel -then I have good news for you, it will NEVER end. The Gospel is the New Covenant and it is ETERNAL, only in "futurism" in its many variations does the Gospel have 'a limited tenure' 'a use-by date' 'a short shelf life.' Fulfilled Prophecy however has an "eternal Gospel" to proclaim -world without end (Eph 3:21).

Revelation 14:6 Then I saw another angel flying in midair, and he had the eternal gospel to proclaim to those who live on the earth--to every nation, tribe, language and people.
