It is so important as a Christian to be a servant of God and bear fruit
all have to make an increase to God by their talent
but one needs only to do what he is capable of doing hence it is his talent
It is doubled when you teach what you know to others and make them capable of serving God like you
as the talents are our faith and our knowledge of righteous living you have to try to win people to the Lord
you have to win people to righteousness and that is to make disciples teaching them to observe all things He has said
He did teach there is a sin that never has forgiveness but is subject to eternal condemnation and Jesus describes hell as their worm does not die,
And their fire is not quenched.
Jesus says the fire shall never be quenched therefore it will not be put out with length of time
and hell was not described as having an end in Matthew 25 but it says they will go to everlasting punishment it doesn’t show hope it ends
I think it is necessary to believe hell exists some may not know not denying it may exist yet not sure it is up to God if He forgives them but He may not
But one thing is true it does exist
People in the body of Christ may have different talents not all the wise virgins were people who sell the oil their job was only to seek the oil
There are a lot of people who make bible commentaries and devotionals they may be gifted and the one who sells you the oil may be the preachers who know who to preach the word of God as no one can come to the Father unless God let’s him nor can anyone know the Father unless the Son reveals it to him so Jesus may be the one also who sells the oil when you pray to Him
The wise would share their oil but they are not sure they have enough oil instead of teaching others they want to go to hear other preachers because they are not sure they have enough for themselves obviously the wise did serve others and teach or the foolish wouldn’t know they had oil but the wise were saying not to depend only on them and they would refer them to their previous works because they wouldn’t promise to continue to teach for they are seeking more oil for themselves now because you are only responsible for yourself
but one thing is clear after the bridegroom comes the door is closed forever the wise we’re trying to point people to Christ while there is time
They have to seek it from Christ first of all
A fool despises wisdom and thinks he doesn’t need it and he can still enter the kingdom but Jesus said only enter by the narrow gate and difficult is the way that leads to life but with Christ is possible and makes yoke bearable
He says seek the Lord while He may be found
In proverbs it says they will seek Him diligently and not find Him because they thought the grace of God is a license to sin that He wouldn’t really require to listen to Him
Jesus said you should knock persistently to receive from Him
