"position papers by WOF people?" Huh? WOF Word of Faith = bible. WOF are believers in Jesus Christ aka Christians. Or followers of Christ. Or have a relationship with Christ.
Hey blade... good to hear from you again. I posted in just a couple areas of what most Word of Faith do believe.... Actually, the phrase, Word of Faith... is simply another way of saying and using "faith filled words" in our daily walk of faith in God. The only time found in the Word of God that I am aware of with the phrase the "word of faith" is in....
Romans 10:8
"The Word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach...." One major problem in the Church today and has for century's is the notion that we believe that we are healed when (we see) the symptoms are all gone. IOW, we "believe when we see" Or "we need to see to believe" with our natural eyes. Same as what doubting Thomas saw in...
John 20:24-29
24 Now Thomas, one of the Twelve, was not with the disciples when Jesus came. 25 So the other disciples told him, “We have seen the Lord!” But he said to them, “Unless" I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, "I will not believe." 26 A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!” 27 Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.” 28 Thomas said to him, "My Lord and my God!" 29 Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
So there it is.... We are saved, healed, and delivered.... "I believe I have received ------> when I pray."
Mark 11-23-24
23 "For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. 24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever you desire, when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you shall have them."
You have a great day.
