I always wonder, when USA will accept, that they commited terrible crimes against the japanese people?

In WW II americans killed most japanese soldiers even if they surrendered.
When americans sunk a a japanese ship, it was common to kill the survivors.
And the most terrible crime in entire history...Hiroshima and Nagasaki...

Japan is a rich country, we want no money. We just want that USA stand to their crimes and honor the victims of that terrible massacres.

1, 2, and 3 - That stuff happens in war. It goes both ways. Especially in a war of that magnitude.

The Atomic bomb droppings were completely neccessary.

When my fellow Marines were fighting the Japanese in the Pacific battles, wanna know how brutal the Japanese were? How about the war crimes committed against the Chinese and Koreans that the Japanese government still refuses to acknowledge or take responsibility for? Before you point the finger at a nation for its atrocities, make sure your own nation has apologized for theirs.

Maybe the Japanese should have thought about that BEFORE they bombed Pearl Harbor

I don´t know why you hold such big grudge on the japanese people...
Is it because the companies that you once bombed like Toyota or Mitsubishi
destroyed your economy now?

Its irony of history...Ford and GM are the corporations that once build the weapons that destroyed Toyota in war but Toyota recovered and destroyed GM and Ford in peace...

It was totally wrong to threw nuclear weapons on cities. With that barbaric events USA murdered hundredthousands of people.

It was nothing more than a weapon test. Japan wanted surrender few days before that. USA ignored the message from Tenno Hirohito. You wanted send a mesage to Stalin. That was the reason, nothing else.

I´m from Kyoto. Kyoto is the old imperial city. It was target for nuclear bombs too...But Truman didn´t want that Kyoto is attacked because he liked the old temples that much.

That is perverted in my eyes.

And no, we couldn´t think about something like that.
In Japan, Honor is very important. We aren´t barbaric. In war we don´t want destroy the enemy complete. Thats a western custom.

Akira, if you get a chance, read Flyboys. It's not a big intellectual novel, more the story of those who flew the bombing missions over Japan. By the time the two atomic bobmbs were dropped, Japan had almost no food, no weapons, and no combat-aged young men. But the government was STILL fighting. They were training their women and children how to fight with stick in case the American 'monsters' landed. They warned Japan in advance of what they were going to do, dropping leaflets over ten different cities, warning the people to get out. The dropping of the bombs brought a swift end to the war, and saved more lives that would have been lost.

Again, you need to read about Nan King. It's barbaric to force fathers to rape their daughters, sons to rape their mothers. It's barbaric to hold women captive and rape them dozens of times. It's barbaric to use human beings as bayonet practice. It's barbaric to force hundreds of people into buildings, lock the door, and set it ablaze. Girls raped, children doused in petrol and set ablaze. Farmers forced into inappropriate behavior with animals. Monks forced to copulate. Pregnant women gang-raped. Babies ripped from stomachs and tossed onto bayonets. The worst in human nature was on parade in NanKing, Akira.
Japans plan for Nanking was a scorched earth policy. To destroy to enemy completely. You need to learn some history, son.
I realize Japan sweeps this stuff under the rug, so I doubt they've taught their own terrible history as we teach ours, but do some research, ok?

Is that the lie, that let you sleep better? There were no leaflets. It was totally unknown.
Do you think my grandparents don´t know about that time?
The emperor made USA a peace offer few days before that. USA ignored it. You wanted test your new weapon. That was the only reason.

Your other sentence are lies too.
No young men? Both of my grandfathers were around 17/18 years in that time. And both were not wounded or harmed in war. And my grandfathers aren´t special. There are millions of other men in their age.

It's interesting that in the book you referenced, Flyboys, it was pointed out that the Japanese enslaved the "Comfort Women" because the soldiers were raping so many women that the government feared they would contract venereal diseases. Then some guy comes here promoting the nobility of the Japanese during war.

Actually, you're incorrect. The #1 carmaker and seller in the US is GM, with Toyota second. :p

As for the other issue, particularly concerning the Japanese military, they were extremely brutal. You guys didn't take prisoners. Perhaps you need to read about the Battle of Iwo Jima, or The Rape of Nanking. Wait, a better book for you to read, would be FlyBoys. That would tell you about how well the Japanese took care of their POWs. The only other country we fought that treated POWs worse were the North Vietnamese.

Your country alligned itself with Hitler, one of the worst people to have ever lived in human history. That right there tells us everything we need to know aobut the "honor" of your nation.

Well, thats the good point of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. As the atomic bombs exploded, their nuclear fired killed not only few hundredthousand people, the nuclear fire burned away evry resposibility for any war crime that a few japanese commited.
Such Things like Nanking never happened. USA tried to demonize us and they used much of fantasy to create such horror stories.:(

But as you used your nuclear bombs all your horror stories were believed 0 in the world.
All know Hiroshima and Nagasaki. On so many cities on earth are monuments for that barbaric act. The UNO consider it as war crime. The atomic dome in Hiroshima is a symbol for UNICEF (against USA).

Is that so. In Japan, America stayed after the unconditional surrender to rebuild Japan. Same in Germany and the same as we are currently doing in Iraq. Can you demonstrate how honorable the Japanese are/were by listing the countries they helped rebuild after defeating them?

GM stocks is rated as trash. Hundredthousands lose their Jobs there.
Toyota is one of the most sucessful company on earth.
You see the difference?
I don´t care if GM sells more cars, because Toyota makes much profit and GM much debt.
All what counts is that as much americans as possible lose their job. That once rich cities like Detroit have become ugly dirty cities full of crime and most want away from there.

You are young and angry and willing to believe what you want but Japan did in fact commit horrible attrocities during the war. Nanking did happen. Not wanting to believe it does not change history.
