I'm looking forward to the investigation of Mueller himself, he knows it is coming, and will draw out the investigation of Trump, with help from his Democrat friends for as long as possible. Mueller is grasping for straws, him and his team have had plenty of time, and the scope of the investigation should be deemed unlawful in itself. If it were an investigation of anybody else in America, it would have already been deemed so.

"remind him that it hasn't been as long as the audit on his tax returns."
Nancy Pelosi

Well, no two are exactly the same, but that last one lasted quite a while longer:

"The Clinton investigations lasted from January, 1994 when Special Prosecutor, Robert Fiske was hired until March, 2002 when Independent Counsel, Robert Ray concluded his work. In between Fiske and Ray was Ken Starr who was Independent Counsel from August, 1994 until September 1998."

Mueller isn't grasping for straws, but you certainly seem to be.

Unbelievable... what would Mueller be investigated for exactly? You do realize that there have been indictments, and no doubt more to come...and here is the scope given him: Rosenstein letter appointing Mueller special counsel

Notice if you will (ii) any matters that arise directly from the investigation; and
(iii) any of the matters within the scope of 28 CFR 600.4

Here is 28 CFR § 600.4 Jurisdiction -
(a)Original jurisdiction. The jurisdiction of a Special Counsel shall be established by the Attorney General. The Special Counsel will be provided with a specific factual statement of the matter to be investigated. The jurisdiction of a Special Counsel shall also include the authority to investigate and prosecute federal crimes committed in the course of, and with intent to interfere with, the Special Counsel's investigation, such as perjury, obstruction of justice, destruction of evidence, and intimidation of witnesses; and to conduct appeals arising out of the matter being investigated and/or prosecuted.

(b)Additional jurisdiction. If in the course of his or her investigation the Special Counsel concludes that additional jurisdiction beyond that specified in his or her original jurisdiction is necessary in order to fully investigate and resolve the matters assigned, or to investigate new matters that come to light in the course of his or her investigation, he or she shall consult with the Attorney General, who will determine whether to include the additional matters within the Special Counsel's jurisdiction or assign them elsewhere.

(c)Civil and administrative jurisdiction. If in the course of his or her investigation the Special Counsel determines that administrative remedies, civil sanctions or other governmental action outside the criminal justice system might be appropriate, he or she shall consult with the Attorney General with respect to the appropriate component to take any necessary action. A Special Counsel shall not have civil or administrative authority unless specifically granted such jurisdiction by the Attorney General.

I appreciate that trump and his supporters attempt to attack any person who hasn't submitted to the clothes-less emperor trump but you will find that Mueller is a man of integrity, honesty, competence, and thoroughness. Hannity was embarrassed sufficiently once but no doubt he and the cult will try, try again...and fail.

Kind of an unlikely fantasy. Not long ago, some Trump supporters tried to gin up a sexual harassment claim on him, and it fell apart. Mostly, because his reputation for integrity made it laughable.

Mueller is grasping for straws

Perps, not straws. And he's nailing them one after another. Lots of Trump underlings have already been convicted, indicted, or plead guilty, and some of have flipped and are now helping the law get other crooks in the Trump organization.

him and his team have had plenty of time

The republicans in Congress "investigated" Clinton for years and came up with nothing. In much less time, Mueller has taken down a series of criminals, gained more money back to the taxpayers than he's spent, and is still actively working on more. It's been a very productive investigation, one that has been good for us.

and the scope of the investigation should be deemed unlawful in itself. If it were an investigation of anybody else in America, it would have already been deemed so.

Nope. As you know, the republicans going after Clinton had much farther-ranging investigations. So the precedent clearly shows Mueller to be following the law.

The legal """"theory"""" (this is used loosely) seems to be that it's unfair and an outrage to uncover twenty-seven different crimes while investigating a completely different matter. It's like being pulled over for speeding and getting angry at a police officer for booking you because they found baggies of coke in the backseat of your car.

That's not to mention that this doesn't seem like "grasping at straws" to me:

If anyone is grasping at straws, it is those who keep throwing themselves at Mueller in an attempt to "prove" that he's illegitimate.
