Marilyn please explain His people, what people, chosen people, God said in the last days I will make a new covenant, the church replaced Israel, Mt 23 Israel is rejected and condemned by Christ, your house is left to you desolate! And
1 Peter 2:9
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light; the church is the new Israel

Why not now Jesus put Peter and the Apostles united with Him in charge of the kingdom, gave Peter the keys, Mt 16:18 and mt 28 go into the whole world and
John 20:21
Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you. How with power and authority, that same as Jesus was sent,

Luke 17:20 and onward seems to indicate it will happen on a regular day when people are about their business. We won't see it coming because it "doesn't come by observation."
.
2 Thessalonians 2:3 and on indicates certain things need to happen first before that day happens.
.
in other words, the timeframe for return is measured in signs but not by the solar clock.

There is the spiritual kingdom of God and the physical kingdom of God, therefore one must be specific in referencing which type of kingdom one is referring to. Also when referencing the kingdom, there is the concept of "now but not yet." There is a sense in which God’s kingdom is already in force. Hebrews 2:8-9 states, “At present, we do not yet see everything in subjection to him. But we see him who for a little while was made lower than the angels, namely Jesus, crowned with glory and honor because of the suffering of death." In this passage, we have a “now” (we see Jesus crowned with glory), and we have a “not yet” (not everything has been subjected to Christ). Jesus is the King, but His kingdom is not yet of this world (see John 18:36). Later in Revelation 12:10 we read, "Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down." The kingdom is partially fulfilled but yet awaits its complete fulfillment at some future time.

Yes, the Kingdom already exists in one sense,
but if you're asking about the 2nd coming of Christ when the earth will pass away because all things will be subjected under Christ's feet (2 Pet 3)...

1 Thes. 5: "5 Now as to the times and the epochs, brethren, you have no need of anything to be written to you. 2 For you yourselves know full well that the day of the Lord will come just like a thief in the night. 3 While they are saying, “Peace and safety!” then destruction will come upon them suddenly like labor pains upon a woman with child, and they will not escape."

No human knows when Jesus will return. It cannot be calculated, and that's God's point...hence why Jesus taught parables about being ready for the master's return AT ALL TIMES.

The Kingdom is here now, but its full coming is future. It's the seed growing secretly. Jesus' mission was to call people to help bring others into the Kingdom ("fishers of men"). He taught what it is like to live in the Kingdom. But it's certainly not in control yet.

Hi Mark,

So it seems to me you are saying -

`God planned to make Himself a nation, Israel to rule the other nations, but when they disobeyed Him and turned away from Him, God thought, "Well I`ll just disregard you now Israel and move on to plan B."

Is that what you are telling me?

regards, Marilyn.

Gadar how can there be more that one king or more than one kingdom lk 1 His kingdom (singular) there shall be no end
I don't recall saying there is more than one Kingdom. Yeshua is reigning now over the Kingdom of Heaven. He will be the King over the same Kingdom of Heaven during the 1,000 years, but it will take a literal form during that time whereas it is now spiritual (in the hearts of believers and invisible to the unbelieving world).

It is for those who have awakened and can 'see'/perceive...for the Kingdom is within/in your midst which is like a tree (or two) in the midst of a garden. It is internal, eternal truth...comes not by observation (signs in the sky/five senses perception) Jesus said His kingdom was not of this world. (Adam fell/was kicked out...eyesight changed)...that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.

1 Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.

12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

His kingdom has never been of this world. "Seeing" is perceiving...where we are perceiving from (the process taking place within) has everything to do with what we 'see'...it is an internal truth not perceived by the hearing of the ear (five senses).

The Kingdom (throne) is within/in our midst...as is a tree (knowledge of good and evil or tree of life/ and a garden, one has a serpent... The Father sits on His Throne even now...there is a duality within (battle of Galatians 5) that narrows down to ONE. There be (for a time) two thrones...A Father sits on the throne in our midst/within...is it the Father of lies or Father of Truth? Until the Truth narrows down to One (the mystery hidden being revealed, Christ IN YOU, the hope of Glory) we perceive with the five senses...

Matthew 25:31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:

32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:

33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

...When we perceive/can see...

I think Thomas had it right:

Thomas 113: 1-4 --- His disciples said to him, "When will the Father's imperial rule come?" Jesus said, "It will not come by watching for it. It will not be said, 'Look here!' or 'Look there!' Rather the Father's imperial rule is spread out upon the earth, and people don't see it."

Thomas 3: 1-5 --- Jesus said, "If your leaders say to you, 'Look, the Father's imperial rule is in the sky,' then the birds of the sky will precede you. If they say to you, 'It is in the sea,' then the fish will precede you. Rather the Father's imperial rule is within you and it is outside you. When you know yourselves, then you will be known, and you will understand that you are children of the living Father. But if you do not know yourselves, then you live in poverty, and you are the poverty."

20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! For, Behold! the kingdom of God is within you. - Luke 17:20-21

The kingdom comes along with the Holy Spirit.

1. The Outer Court - Justification - Faith to enter in.
2. The Altar - Salvation by acknowledging and believing on Jesus
3. The Laver - The clean effects of sanctification.
4. Table of Showbread – Partaking of the Word of God.
5. Light at the Lightstand - Faith, hope, charity, joy, grace, spiritual fruit, etc.
6. The Golden Incense Altar - Prayer and Praise meetings.
7. The Holy of Holies - The Shekinah Glory and Baptism of the Holy Ghost.

And when Moses was gone into the tabernacle of the congregation to speak with him, then he heard the voice of one speaking unto him from off the mercy seat that was upon the ark of testimony, from between the two cherubims: and he spake unto him. - Numbers 7:89

It was in the Holy of Holies that God spoke to Moses. It is also the place where you can hear from him too! This is the place when the kingdom comes... Right inside your very heart!

Matthew 24:
35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

I surprised no one quoted this one yet! Albeit, almost the entire chapter of Matthew 24 is dedicated to Christ Himself responding to this very same question.

34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

...When we perceive/can see...
It is both. Referring to a spiritual kingdom, Jesus in Lk 17:21 said: "The kingdom of God does not come with your careful observation, nor will people say, 'Here it is,' or 'There it is,' because the kingdom of God is within you." Obviously Jesus was not referring to an external, physical kingdom in this verse but an internal spiritual kingdom in one's heart. So one can say that those who have been regenerated by the Spirit have the kingdom of God dwelling in them. In that sense the kingdom is already here as manifested in the lives of believers.
On the other hand, Jesus' physical kingdom is not yet here but awaits it's future completion for we find in Rev 12:10 - "And I heard a loud voice saying in Heaven, “Now have come salvation and strength, and the Kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ; for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, who accused them before our God day and night."

When does the kingdom come? A better question would be: When, where and how the kingdom of God will be established? What say Scriptures, yes, what say Scriptures about it?

What we see in the midst of this apostasy in recent times, there are many arguments and comments, assumptions, conjectures, speculations, and false interpretations of Scriptures, and so on, in truth many many tares are being sowed among the believers. These evil manifestations have spread confusion among the believers. What we see is that there are interpretations for all 'likes'. But what is written in the Word of God? Scriptures explain Scriptures.

Rev.11:15 - 15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of THIS WORLD (the world in which we are living) are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of His Christ; and He shall reign for ever and ever.

1 - Great voices in heaven? The question is: What we understand as heaven? There are many fantasies about it.

What do Scriptures say? Eph. 1:v.3: 3 "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in HEAVENLY places in Christ". In what heavenly place in Christ are we living in this present moment? WE are living in the heavenly place in Christ, which is the New Testament, established and implanted here on earth throught our Lord JESUS. BTW, the first heavenly place in Christ is the Old Testament, and this first heavenly place was established by the Most High and Almighty God inicially through Moses, to be habited by the descendants of Abraham exclusivelly, the Gentile people could not enter in this first heveanly place.

In the Holy Scriptures HEAVEN is not the physical space of the Universe (sky), showed by NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration, but celestial places in Christ JESUS or heavenly Dispensations as the OT and NTs.

Be prepared because these two heavenly places, the OLd and NEW Testaments, and also the whole world in which we are living yet, they all will be burned with fire, as prophesied the Apostle Peter and others, two thousand years ago. (Peter 3:7-11-12) 7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same Word (by the Word of God) are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the HEAVENS being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

13 Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new HEAVENS and a NEW earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. JESUS WARNED: (Luke 20:35-36)

35 But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world (that is the KINGDOM of GOD, the 3rd HEAVEN IN CHRIST, which will be established now in this last millennium, the Millennium of Christ), and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:

36 Neither can they die any more: (O yes, The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death-1Cor.15:v.26) for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.

2 - When does the kingdom come? The answer is: In the beginning of this first century of the last millennium in which we are living, the Millennium of Christ.

Well, the Most High and Almighty God planned to work six Days and rest in the seventh Day, that is the Last Day. The question is that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years (2Pe.3:8&Ps.90:4). The last Day is the Great Sabbath, the last Millennium, the Millennium of Christ, and the Millennium of Truth, and the Millennium, and the Day of the Lord, and the Day of Vengeance, and the Day of Judgment, the Judgment Seat of Christ. The world of Devil is already Judged, and Condemned, and now, in this seventh and last millennium, will be punished, there will be punishment, only and only punishment, in this last Day, the Day of the Lord JESUS, King of the kings and LORD of the lords.

And God Father already entered in His rest, as He had planned in the beginning of His works, but He is not sleeping, of course, and JESUS assume the government of the Universe. JESUS is now sat on His Tribunal, the Judgment Seat of Christ, to Judge all nations, taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not His gospel, who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of His power.

(Rev.11:15-19) –
15 The kingdoms of THIS WORLD are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of His Christ; and He shall reign for ever and ever.

17 We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.
18 And the nations were angry, (Yes, the nations will be angry) and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

3 - Where will be established the Kingdom of God?
Who answer this question for us is the seventh angel, he says that will be here in the earth, as is written in Rev.11:v.15 - And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms OF THIS WORLD (the world in which we are living yet) are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of His Christ; and He shall reign for ever and ever.

4 – How will be established the Kingdom of God? Moreover, how will be the end of this world in which we are living yet? Rev. 12:12 warns us: Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea ! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

The question is that the kingdom of God, as was revealed by our Lord JESUS, it comes not with observation, neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force. (Rev.12:7-11) And there was war in heaven (heaven(s) is not the physical space of the Universe-(sky), but celestial place(s) in Christ or Dispensations as is written in Eph.1:v.3) : Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, and prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And they (Michael and his angels) overcame him (overcome Satan and his angels) by the blood of the Lamb (by the blood of JESUS), and by the Word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
Romans 8:19 - For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.

5- How will be the end of this world?
Who answer this question for us is our Lord JESUS: Mat.13:37-43
37 He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;
38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;

39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the HARVEST is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.
40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire;
so shall it be in the end of this world. (are you prepared?)

41 The Son of man shall send forth His angels, and they shall gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;
42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

Rev. 1:7-8
7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see Hhim, and they also which pierced Him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of Him. Even so, Amen.
8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
