When does it start getting fabulous?

This forum is called the Fabulous 40's. I've been over 40 for 5 years now? So when does it start getting fabulous? Did I sleep through the good part, again?

I don't think any decade can be 'fabulous' but my older sister by ten years once said that for this decade we develop a thicker skin over time in order to cope with all the knocks that life throws at us.

Sorry if this sounded rude. I did mean it in good humor. My sense of humor is like a cake that is intended to come out light and sweet, but sometime while it's in the over, it fall.....well...there you have it.
