When we humans show our teeth it’s called a smile

Is the difference an evolutionary thing and once upon a time we smiled for the same reason wolves smile today-?

Dogs smile, especially silly pugs, without showing their teeth.

I think people probably did not show their teeth as a sign of fighting because human teeth are not really good at defending ourselves. I mean, a person would have to be extremely close in order to bite them. Humans can do way more damage with their hands.

Vote: Some animals smile. Dolphins smile, or appear to.

I find that, often, humans do far more damage with words than they could ever do with teeth.

Since I believe evolution is contrary to God's creation, not evolutionary (and you should see my dog smile...and other animals show such pleasure (are they laughing at us at times?)) I believe in the garden we walked and talked with animals too! After the fall, we lost the ability to understand them but they still understand us! My POV.
