What's your favorite play?

What's is everyones favorite play / opera here? My favorite play is either The Music Man or Fiddler on the Roof, and my favorite opera is The Phantom of the Opera.

Just curious what everyone else's taste is, I am curious to see what others think. Thanks!

I fell in love with The Music Man when our high school choir did it for the spring play. It was so great!

its the story from the bible of Joseph (and Jacob and his sons) Josephs brothers sell him to egypt for cash and tell their that he was murdered. after being a slave for some time, Joseph uses his gift of deciphering dreams to help the pharoah. the pharoah makes joseph his "right hand man" and then josephs brothers have to beg him for food b/c of a bad faminine. its a great story and an even better musical!

i love all of andrew lloyd webbers plays especially Jesus Christ Superstar and Cats and Joseph and all the others

i also love blood brothers, little shop of horrors and any other musicals wooooooooo

Yeah, Joseph rocks! Webber did a great job w/ it. This question is really hard. I love so many. Arsenic and Old Lace, Phantom, Fiddler, SOM, Harvey, NEthing by Neil Simon. I just don't know!!!

My favorite is definitely Hamlet. I always go to the Shakespear Fesitval because of it.

Shakespeare is really great, I learned alot about SP in my sophomore year of high school. Julius Caeser is one of my favorites. Et tu Brute!

I just saw "Movin' Out" this May in New York while I was there, and I loved it. Even though it's more of a Rock Ballet, I'd say it's my favourite musical.

I really like A Midsummer Night's Dream.
As for musicals, my favourite is no doubt The Phantom of the Opera, though I adore Jekyll & Hyde. West Side Story's also a good one.
I can say with confidence that my least favourite play is Annie.

Hmm... there are quite a bit, but here are a some of them:

- The Importance of Being Earnest (It was my first play ever, and my first time in the lead role as well... And this got me hooked on Oscar Wilde)

- A Midsummer Night's Dream (This got me hooked on Shakespeare)

- Angels in America

The plays and musicals I've been in so far in my high school years are, "And Then There Were None" and "Bye Bye Birdie." I enjoyed both of them, but if I had to pick my favs they would be "The Phantom of the Opera">> I love the play and the movie, and A Mid Summer Night's Dream - Shakespeare rocks!

Well I've only ever seen one Broadway play and that was the Producers, but I've seen Beauty and the Beast, Little Shop of Horrors, Godspell, and a few others that I don't remember that weren't touring Broadway. The producers was amazing but I LOVE Godspell. I'm seeing Lion King this Sunday at the BJCC so that'll be my second Broadway play too see. I'm excited. Teehehe
