My favourite is Takakka Falls in Yoho National Park , British Columbia, Canada. It is 833 feet tall and the name is from an Indian language that translates roughly as "Holy Cow!!!"

That is melt water directly from the ice field at the top of those cliffs so I would not advise frolicking in it.

Like most living in the land of waterfalls (Norway), I have more than one favourite. One of them is https://media-cdn.tripadvisor.com/media/photo-s/05/47/30/ba/steinsdalsfossen-waterfall.jpg. Not high at all (about 165 feet/50 m), but one of very few in the world that one can walk behind and see from "inside" (http://no.zooverresources.com/images/E328466L7B1617841D0W900H675/Steinsdalsfossen.jpg, http://www.hardanger-resort.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/Utflukt-lokalt-Steinsdalsfossen-bak.png).
