What's wrong with Richard Dawkins?

    Well, think of the number of religious apologists that immediately call other religions evil, immoral, satanic, and so forth. Those people never attempt to learn about the beliefs of those they are going after, they simply tell those people they are wrong and stupid.

    Instead of asking what's going on with him psychologically, maybe we should ask whether there is some truth in what he says. After all, there is no smoke without fire. Maybe, such open minded attitude (rather than denial) could help religious people learn from history so as to avoid repeating it.

    Interestingly, Jesus was admonishing self-righteous religious hypocrites, not unbelievers. And reg. what Jesus did to the money changers ... Well, we are not Jesus, so we shouldn't be in the business of judging. Leave that to god. Also I don't recall Jesus asking his disciples to attack unbelievers, even verbally.

    It also says to turn your back on unbelievers. So you ARE to make a judgment in regards to unbelievers. If you judge them to be unwelcoming to the Word, you are to turn your back on them and leave them to their fate.

    (Matthew 10:12-14)
    12 As you enter the home, give it your greeting. 13 If the home is deserving, let your peace rest on it; if it is not, let your peace return to you. 14 If anyone will not welcome you or listen to your words, leave that home or town and shake the dust off your feet. 15 Truly I tell you, it will be more bearable for Sodom and Gomorrah on the day of judgment than for that town.
