What's the conscience in Orthodoxy?

I heard some non-Orthodox say it is the Holy Spirit. Is this a good definition or what?

kinda, it's certainly where the Spirit does a lot of His work.

I would think that these would indicate the working of the Holy Spirit in the conscience.
