Winter is so difficult for me. My brain functions with daylight. When it's bright outside, I'm energetic and awake. When it's dark, I feel sleepy and foggy-headed. Trying to trudge through months where it's dark at 5pm, and I'm awake till 11pm, is torture. Cloudy days are even worse, it feels like an eternal nighttime. I lived in a house that got virtually no sunlight (even in summer) for years; it was awful. Now, I'm blessed to live a south-facing apartment, and I'll never go back lol.

The house is full of light. We have skylights, and a lot of windows. It just during the winter months it does not last long enough to my liking.
