You're avy is still tripping me out.. thought I saw a renaissance looking demon for a second.. lol.
Wow... everyone’s seeing fiends. Sheesh! *lol*
Mostly, but it's not that physical.
Me thinks rest and limited gaming might help. You were crushing it last weekend.
Thought I saw a fat SJW looking woman too. Lol.
Crikey! What did you eat?
Gaming no.. they drain me. More than any other media outlet.
You probably exhausted yourself playing and its catching up with you.
How long have you been into them? I remember getting into arguments with my father as a teenager.. he said the Beatles changed everything.. and I thought they were just one band within many during that era. Now.. I think I'm mostly wrong.. although other bands during that era still contributed a lot to modern music.
Lol.. the avy is like an ink blot..
Lol, I haven't played since I started this temporary job. Downloaded a game tonight though.
I'd say maybe five years? I think with the benefit of experience I'd agree with your father. Their only REAL contenders at the time where The Small Faces (love them too, great band) and The Rolling Stones (which I'm not fussed about.)
The thing that made The Beatles different was John's quirky song writing ability, Paul's song writing ability (and work ethic) George's capability to be an 'all rounder' and Ringo's flawless rhythm (and his smile.) They were the perfect team. I've not seen any band 'hit it' like they did. Live shows were one thing, but in the studio no one can hold a candle to them.
Soloists I'd debate with you, like Cat Stevens, Bob Dylan etc, but bands? Nah, The Beatles are the masters. It's as simple as that.
Might as well wait for the weekend. Crash Friday and catchup on your rest.
Unreal. That’s pretty hard to follow. *lol*
Wasn't the Beach Boys going in a similar direction.. although you could argue it was just Brian Wilson actually wanting to push music forward from that band.
Surprised about the 5 years part. Thought you liked them forever, especially since you're a British person yourself. Might be ignorant thinking but sorry that's just what popped into my head. Lol.
The Beach Boys were just never good enough. Bad management, lack of discipline and poor habits across the team. Pet Sounds was a good album and probably their ONLY album if I'm honest. They were almost there, but not quite. Had the "Smile" album come off, it might have been a different story.
The Beatles ARE a part of our history. I was just too into Paul Weller and Oasis when I was younger. The Beatles came later when Spotify entered my life and I became inquisitive about the backstory to my music. Turns out Paul Weller's main inspiration was The Beatles.
Weller is good. If you're not familiar with his work he's definitely worth your time. He was in The Jam and the Style Council - search for songs like "Down In The Tube Station At Midnight" "Start" and "That's Entertainment."
Yeah, I plan to finish the Last Of Us 2 on Saturday for that reason. Although the game I downloaded Tony Hawk is more of a pick up and play game (nothing heavy).. and might play it for an hour or two tomorrow.
Wow.. just thought I saw a mangirl for a second.. lol.
I think we had that on X-Box. She traded some games secretly.
I'm not sure what's in there. But I demanded Big Mutha Truckers back.
