The night working with my crush seems to be going well so far. In my relative social inexperience I acknowledge that I could totally be making more of this than I should, but she and I appeared to share a couple of slightly tender moments of lighthearted banter so far. One where she (clearly jokingly) asked if I was leaving the part of scrubbing the tables in the kitchen to her "just because I am a woman?" while we were doing routine cleaning together in the same room, like, pretending I was being a chauvinist.
She clearly wasn't serious. She seems to be kind of mischievous in personality, really, but in a cute and harmless way. ^-^ So I feel we are getting along well. Even better, the guy who normally works in my place on this shift was just discovered by me to be taking vacation next Friday morning, so I just got yet another day soon to work alongside the lovely Erin, by covering his spot; always a pleasant surprise. .... Perhaps I should really confess to have taken such a liking to her and asking her out then, on that day, instead of a week later, at a time where we will just be passing each other at shift change instead of working the entire day together? The opportunity - or my nerve - may not be so great, then.
