  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

You are 100% correct - I mediate to Raga for that very reason.

I always thought I was in control of my emotions until I heard Pachelbel Canon 3 Violins and Cello played on steel pans in a park in Tokyo. My eyes welled up and I felt that distinct tightness in my throat. To this day I can't rationalise that emotion with anything else. It was a totally new feeling - like falling in love for the first time, but five, maybe six times stronger.

Once you've felt that you literally don't want anything else. It's incredible.

I didn't know you also enjoy writing, very cool.

Well there's a lot of nonfiction-based topics I want to get into, mostly involving the intertwining of Christianity and Judaism, which I have a lot of experience in. I'm keeping the details a bit vague in public lol. But I also want to get into fiction, perhaps in the science fiction and suspense genres.

I've always had a desire to teach and to write, but never really got serious about it until now. Plus I think it'll be a great way to supplement income right now.

I got the $20 Fill Up. It's 8pcs of bone in chicken and 12 tenders, with cole slaw, biscuits and mashed potatoes and gravy. Was deeeelicious! And sure I'll share

There's a lizard in my house! The other day, I saw his tail sticking out between the crown molding and the fireplace. Now, he's hiding under my fridge. It was kind of funny to watch him try to run on the slippery kitchen floor. His little legs were moving a lot faster than he was. Although I opened the door and tried to push him outside, he chose the fridge instead. Hopefully, he doesn't die under there. It will interesting to see if my cat finds him first, but I'd rather he escape unharmed.

Man.. I had a super vivid realistic dream last night. When I woke up halfway through.. my body felt paralyzed and stuck for a while. Was also a lucid dream.. sadly it didn't last for very long. Most dreams are really fuzzy.. but this one was like watching something in HD.
