I feel kind of bad about lashing out now.
Naw...... not a huge deal IMO women do the same griping about men it is a good thing if some women don't understand us guys to give them a clue perhaps some of them will think again when we grab the last donut and don't share it with them.

My friend Steve and I have been doing a study on Francis Chan's "Forgotten God." He is so right. The church today ignores the Holy Spirit. As a result, the Americanized church today lacks real power. That's just been on my mind.
One reason they ignore the Holy Spirit is because they simply don't have the same idea of what is holy.

I had a good vacation, although I'm still a bit tired after such a long drive. While away I visited with family, sailed, went mountain biking, and even read books that aren't work-related. Now that I'm back, I have some catching up to do.

I was only getting spam calls so one day I came up with an ingenious idea. I found a quiet place and recorded 30 seconds of silence and then made the sound file my new default ring tone. Now if I don't know you my phone vibrates but doesn't make a sound. When someone calls that I know I set a ringtone to their contact. I was getting calls late at night waking me up for spam and my phone would ring when I was out and about driving and I would think it was something important and pull over to check it.

Well, now they spoof themselves as local calls, so I don't know if it is a real caller or a spam caller, which is super annoying to me. But, I like your idea, though. I might just have to do something like that myself, lol.

They have been spoofing calls for awhile. I only got a cell phone 5 years ago and land line phones had batter support for caller ID, that is most calls that were valid told you who it was calling unlike cell phones that you have to install an extra app to get that function I believe. Back then I was getting calls from numbers like 123456789 or 000000000 and even got a call that had my phone number listed but not my name I guess my evil twin called me from another dimension. One thing that is nice is the phone company now lists a lot of numbers as possible scam on my phone but I simply don't answer for unknown numbers nor do I fall for the trap of calling back to remove my number from their list as this doesn't stop them from selling your number to another operation for a profit. If you answer these folks they often put your number on a list of "real people" and that can increase the calls. I don't also put in a custom answer message either as this can also give these folks a clue it is an active number or someone that can be hoodwinked etc.

I can still attract women. That's not what bothers me.

When I was a teenager, it used to bother me, but I was more of the mindset of "it sucks... but women have their own body image issues too, they can reject guys for their height and when I'm older I can reject women for not being young enough". Then I grew up and started dealing with hypocritical body positive feminists. Many of them told me it was just natural then women prefer taller men and that there is an evolutionary basis and that men should understand this. Yet when I made the same argument about men wanting fertile women and age being a huge issue for us, I was charged to be somehow sexist and engaging in "red pill" nonsense.

Also just seeing how comfortable many women were with trashing men and their height, and how nervous I saw many men doing the same to women and their weight/age issues. I just felt like I had to fill that void, and that the only way there was going to be any actual equality was to promote the same nastiness right back.

Even if I was a tall guy, I'd still find a lot of this stuff annoying. It's just delusional to think that men's body issues are due to biology and women's body image issues are due to culture and should and can be fixed. These feminist women are basically arguing that it's sexist to shame women for what they like, and it's also sexist for men not to embrace women of all body types. And that this somehow is "equality".

I try not to let these thoughts consume me all the time anymore... but I do feel like this is an issue I can never truly escape from.
Do you want kids? Otherwise saying you want a 'fertile' girl is kind of masking what you really want.

I picked up a few decorative items for my downstairs lavatory the other day. It's interesting how much bigger it looks now. You'd think the more things put in a room the smaller it would seem, but that's not always the case.

Later today, I plan to clean off my workbenches. Easier said than done, as most of my pegboards, shelves, and toolboxes are already full. Looks like I'll need to do more redecorating/rearranging.

In other news, my cat needs his annual checkup and rabies vaccine. It's hard to believe that the little guy is over 18 years old.

Masking what I really want? What do you mean?

I do not want to have children, but I am still a product of evolution. Men who desire women who are fertile are simply going to be more reproductively successful compared to men who do not. There are some men who are naturally attracted to elderly women, but understandably these desires are not going to be very successful at passing onto future generations of men.

It is just nonsense that men are not biased in favor of early 20 something women, or the perceived femininity of women is not hugely hinged on age.

Ironically there was not much evolutionary pressure for humans to necessarily desire having children, especially in the age before modern birth control methods. Although when someone does have children, I do think we evolved to shift gears into a parental mindset.

In a bid to beef up my references, I've been thinking of reaching out to a former assistant manager of mine on Facebook to see if it would be okay to use her for that. Not quite sure if it's the right idea or not.

Yeah, I still have a landline as well as a cell phone, so I get it. Sometimes I think people just have way too much time on their hands, lol.

I dropped my landline and AT&T when both died on me. It took almost a week to get internet back working and 8 days to get my phone number totally connected to a cell phone account so my life was a mess for 2 weekends in a row. The two things I miss of a landline is caller ID and having an excuse not to answer the phone plus away all day I can come home and maybe get a surprise call from someone..... (not really).

I have been thinking about dying a lot today. I don’t want to die. =[ I am scared of dying. :(:(:(:(
Think about where you go when you die and it becomes a lot less scary. If you truly love Jesus then why are you scared of his love after this life? I'm not afraid of dying itself, I'm concerned about suffering greatly in a long drawn out death. Instant death with no pain for me is like Paul said..... welcomed if it serves a good purpose. At times my life has got to the point that I welcomed going home to heaven to be with my parents who passed away over 15 years ago.

Remember the prodigal son...he sinned but his father was ready to forgive him when he repented. Ask for God's forgiveness. He's merciful and He loves you, and He is ready to forgive you when you are sincerely sorry.

Do you think anyone who truly Loves Jesus would go to Hell? Only those people who love their twisted idea of Jesus (not himself) risk such a venture. I would recommend you study the writings of Paul and get inside his head as he himself at one time wished he could go to heaven.
At times I tire of this life when I see endless evil around me and not much good happening but I realize that I still for some reason have a purpose to still be around in this life and the enemy (satan) wants me in fear so as to greatly diminish my witness to others.
