CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

There is actually a club online called the 'happy wives club' and so there ought to be a 'happy singles club' too.
They started the happy wives club when some married women started complaining too much and too loudly about their marriages. It was a kind of counter cultural movement.
Well here Im finding the same thing. Why do people complain so much about being single. Whats not to like? Really. Who wants to hang round miserable ppl all the time? I dont.

Actually getting out and looking around there is definitely potential for dating. I saw one girl today, wow, she was really beautiful. Guess I've been spending to much time looking online.

So, no one had to deal with a grandmother telling you that you were related to somebody that you probably weren't related to? Among other things, my grandmother loves figuring out if we're related to,someone from history. As my mom put it:"instead of being like a normal grandmother and saying, 'I'm glad I finally get to see you!' She says, 'Let me tell you about some random person that I think is related to us!"
And no, she doesn't do any sort of ancestry.com stuff to prove it. She thought we were related to Betsy Ross because a cousin of hers had the first name of Ross. That's how vague the connection is. She can't see the flaws in her own theories. She just likes to hear herself talk.

I'm going to make some tea. Have so many types I need to use up, have to decide what I'll have today.
