CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Yes, it was.... it made me flash (no pun intended) back to the days of TV when the writer strike happened... the stories were about as deep and interesting as the average 3rd graders riveting tale of what they did for their summer vacation.
You should ache for me......
whats next? "You had me at hello?"No wonder we have a divorce rate like we do...... if people are mistaking infatuation with love and a few dates as the timeline for "aching for you" territory.(I know its just a TV show, but Im sure the masses watching didn't question it. Which is the telling part)
I guess from now on I shall tell women on the first date..... "the next time I see you I will NOT have been aching for you. I did not count the seconds til I saw you again...... I like you and all, thats why Im here with you...... but I wont be counting the seconds and aching for you after the next one either."
To think all this time I have been leading women on by having second.... third...... fourth and so on dates and not aching for them.

Okay, truth be told...... I will most likely from now until I meet my wife be telling a woman on the second date that I DID in fact ache for her and I DID count the seconds til I saw her again....... but thats cause I will have probably told her a million times on the first date. "You like and make tacos? Lets get married." "You LOVE the idea of a bacon wrapped, chicken beef taco hybrid? Have my bull babies." etc...... Whats life without a little excitement by making other people believe you are completely insane?
Of course.... if she says yes she will call my bluff and ME being the stubborn bull I am...... Id find myself at the alter praying she would back down before its my turn to say "I do".

If some guy told me he "ached" for me after the first or second date I would question his emotional/mental stability or think he was a scammer. ha ha ha. It seems a bit insane. Wow...what garbage people write.

Yes, but IF she survived date one and accepted the idea of date two.... she will likely be able to roll with me saying such things to her as I am NOT an average date.
Im like a riddle wrapped in crazy. When I am being my crazy self its hard to tell what is serious and what is exaggerated by almost infinite numbers for comedic effect. Either for the amusement of myself... or that of others.
She may not know every thing about me after date one.... but she ill likely have gotten a glimpse of everything she will face if she decides to be the bulls lady.
The woman that marries me..I sure hope is good with kids.. cause Ill be straight up honest. I DON'T need another mother....... but, I DO need constant supervision..... luckily the same things that distract and entertain a child still work on me...
Put out a huge box of legos or crayons....... some blankets so I can build a blanket fort and put on some Garfield cartoons and Im distracted for...... AT LEAST a good 10 minutes.
