  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Yeah but I seem to have that issue even when I don't have the PM page open. It's not a consistent problem but it happens often enough that I've noticed it.

Sort of celebrating my first social outing since becoming a temporary resident of Houston yesterday, my friends and I went and saw the Goosebumps movie with Jack Black earlier this afternoon (although I guess by the time I am writing this that would technically be yesterday). It was actually quite entertaining. Sure as an adult it's easy to say that most of R.L. Stine's writings in the Goosebumps book series were lame or stupid, but still, many kids loved most of the them in the 90's. It was a nice bit of nostalgia for us to see a movie about these books coming to life, especially with an actor like Jack Black playing the eccentric and shifty-eyed writer himself, R.L. Stine. Best of all, most surprisingly I actually laughed at the majority of the movie's attempts at humor, rather than groaned or face-palmed. If any of you read Goosebumps as a kid and you still have a heart for PG childish-brand horror films, I honestly recommend it.

Tempted to buy the new 50 dollar Amazon tablet. The only thing discouraging me is that the device only has a 7 inch screen. My phone has a 5 inch screen and blow's the tablet's specs away. I wonder if it's worth it.

Not really.. Scottish government is not a government, it's a social policy body.

House of Commons is a government which Scotland has MPS

There should be a English social policy "government"

Not having the House of Commons craved up and Scottish and Welsh MPs treated second class.

If you want a union start acting like one

P.s you are now slowly watching the break up of the Union, stuff like this will slow erode the union

I think the best way would be your own assembly.

The EVEL just makes things complex.


Half of me thinks it's going to happen with stuff like this going on,

And then the other half of me thinks the SNP won't allow it ( they have too much power and control now, and possible get more, so they will dangle Indy like a carrot but never going for it)
