A straight up, but very cold Martini, made with 8 parts Bombay Sapphire gin to 1 part Dolin or Noilly Pratt dry vermouth. Shaken over fresh ice (a la James Bond. Preferably in a chilled, silver cocktail shaker.) Then strained into a crystal stemmed cocktail glass, and placed in the freezer for 30 minutes till icy cold. Garnished with 2 Castelvetrano olives (the best martini olives.) Sipped slowly and reverently, holding the glass only by the stem. So as not to warm the drink with your hand. The ultimate pinnacle of human civilization.

Well, if you were to ask me earlier in the year, it would be Damien Hardwick's success in turning the mediocre Richmond team into the premiership winners and outstanding team they are now.
