The last movie I watched was one I rented from Netflix called "Say Anything." It's a 80's drama/romance starring a very young John Cusack. He's considered low on the high school food chain and absolutely adores his high school's most popular female, and even though everyone says he has no shot, she falls for him. There's a lot more to the plot, but that's the main premise. It's also the movie with the famous scene of Cusack holding up the boombox as Peter Gabriel's "In Your Eyes" plays.

in Theater: Fireproof ---- Awesome movie... go watch it, 'nough said....

On DVD: Gold Though the Fire... old movie about a Russian Kid who escapes a political prisoner camp and comes to America trying to find Religious Freedom and winds up in tons of trouble at high school for expressing his views... except for science class it was all free time expression... good stuff.... worth watching... bear in mind -- it was an early 80's film... so it looks dated... but the message is priceless.....
